The location was great! It was just us and our dog but for families the house was spread out (bedrooms), yard was really nice!

We love hearing this! We're so glad you and your pup enjoyed your stay and that the location and spacious layout were a great fit. It's wonderful to know you also loved the yard—it’s a favorite for both two-legged and four-legged guests! Thank you for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable island getaway.

Great location. Easy access to the beach. Suggest bringing a cart to take items to the beach or rent a golf cart. You can drive the golf cart on the beach. Located near the community pool. We used it when we left the beach. Fun girls getaway.

Beach time, pool time AND a girls getaway? Sounds like you guys had a GREAT time in Port A! We're so glad you loved the location and easy beach access. And we agree—a beach cart or golf cart can make hauling all that beach gear a whole lot easier! Thanks for choosing Port A Escapes. We hope the girls make this getaway a tradition!

The house served us well, there were a few minor inconveniences. The dryer did not work, there was only one extra blanket in the whole house, we found a couple of roaches. The stove vents weren’t cleaned and kept dripping onto the oven, where I had to take them off and clean them. The hosts were very communicative, and apologized. We had great beach access with the golf cart we rented, plenty of games for the kids at the house. Overall, we will likely find a different house for next time.

Beautiful property. Perfect house that worked out for a birthday getaway with our blended family of 5 kids. We opted not to bring our dogs but it would have worked perfectly. Only downside was crappy/no WiFi at times for the teenagers.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so glad the home was the perfect fit for your birthday getaway and that it worked so well for your family. It sounds like you made some great memories together, which is exactly what we love to hear. We're also happy you found the property accommodating for pets, even though your dogs stayed home this trip. We appreciate your feedback regarding the WiFi and apologize for the connectivity issues. We know that's especially important for teenagers—and let's be honest, probably a few adults too! Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome your family back again soon.
