What a fantastically cute cabin ON the lake. Small but perfectly cozy for a couple or two close couples. Direct access to the lake with kayak and paddle board rentals close by. Nicely appointed. Had everything we needed and awesome views. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Weekend!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked the lake house for an intimate birthday celebration with my boyfriend. It was exactly what we wanted. Quiet, private, and right on the lake. The house was clean and well maintained, and the host was very attentive. We talked about booking again, only bringing the kids next time!

This was an ideal location and the property management company was very responsive and we loved the view and the hot tub was amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped with really nice cooking and dish-ware. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was comfortable. However, there were some concerns. As a family of 4, we were a bit cramped. Luckily we spent most of our time on the water and the deck. We were not able to take advantage of the lower deck with the lake access or dock even after they cleared all the overgrowth. This property could better advertised the air conditioning unit. They had provided a window AC unit, upstairs only. Since the temperatures were high 80’s we didn’t have any issues once we opened up windows. I would also recommend they consolidate the remotes, the large number of them can be very confusing. We suggest a window covering of some sort for the downstairs bedroom, nothing is currently there to maintain privacy or shade.

Weekend Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booked this place for the weekend for my wife’s 30th birthday. The photos of the property look absolutely amazing. Added the birthday package which was an awesome addition and surprise to have the place decorated when we showed up. They accommodated an early check in at no additional cost which was great. In a great location on a small quiet and private street. House had a definite rodent smell that did not go away and found mouse droppings on kitchen counters, bedding around the pillows, bathroom rugs, and comforters. 4 massive spiders that we killed inside of the bedroom, one of them being on the bed and one in my wife’s shoes. Opted to not cook in the kitchen unfortunately after discovering the mouse poop. Wife was freaked out the rest of the weekend staying in that room with our newborn and couldn’t wait to get out of there for the weekend. Water levels were down on the lake so the dock was in the mud out of the water at this time of year. Never opened the jacuzzi, looked a little beat from the outside. House was pretty tight with us 3, I now understand the reason for the max limit of 4 people and definitely can only fit 1 car as noted. Overall an amazing cabin and location with potential but needs some love. For the price, I think we will opt for another location in the future.

However, we are deeply concerned to hear about your experience with pests - we have brought out our professional pest control team to thoroughly inspect and treat the property, and our housekeeping team has and will continue to re-sanitize all areas to maintain our high level of guest satisfaction. While our cabins are nestled in a natural mountain environment where local wildlife is active, finding evidence of pests inside the home is not to our standard of cleanliness. We completely understand why this was stressful for your wife and newborn, and we sincerely apologize for the impact it had on her birthday weekend. We also appreciate your notes regarding the seasonal lake levels affecting the dock. We do inform guests that lake levels do fluctuate throughout the year and typically at the end of summer (Sept and Oct) lake levels are far lower in this area. We will use your comments to make immediate necessary updates and improvements to this well loved cabin. We wish you and your family the very best an will be contacting you directly.
