We are five ladies who have been friends for decades but have moved away from each other, so we get together when we can. This house was perfect for our get-together because we each had our own comfortable room, there was ample space to gather and cook, and we enjoyed the outdoors on the deck. We also hiked on the private trails, as well as up the winding country road, and found the stream and waterfall that were in the description. The kitchen was well equipped and there were cozy blankets which we used and a nice wood stove (which we didn't end up using) for the cold fall evenings.Would recommend printing out a copy of the house manual to keep in the cabin, as well as perhaps posting the internet information on the fridge, as we had trouble accessing the manual with no internet access when we first arrived. Also, couldn't get the hot tub to heat above 90 degrees though we turned it up to 104, even after several hours. Might have been user error, but recommend taking a look at the controls in case the hot tub needs servicing. Enjoyed ourselves immensely and would come again!

4/10 Poor

The primary issue with this property is the inaccurate description provided. For instance, it’s listed as a six-bedroom cabin, but the two bedrooms on the lower level lack air conditioning (no cooling or heating). Consequently, it wasn’t suitable for us, and one of our kids had to share a bedroom with us. Additionally, the house is older than what’s depicted in the images. Furthermore, it’s mentioned that there are two garages, but they were locked. It is also listed that they have a private trail, but the trail is just a very short, muddy path made from vehicle driving. I was also quite annoyed by the host’s repeated insistence that I check in after 4 p.m., especially on the day of the check-in when he kept reiterating this, which I found unnecessary. The way of communication and the conditions set by the host were like he was the customer and we were the owners. While the cabin is situated in a pleasant location, the details in the listing are exaggerated, and the customer should be informed about these details beforehand.
