It is an unfussy place for two travelers who want Kihei's beach life right at their doorstep.



The Space:

This private sixth-floor studio is compact, air-conditioned, and centered on its Haleakalā sunrise view. It has a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, smart TV, and a portable table and chairs for simple meals or laptop time. The full bath and single-room layout work well for two guests who expect to spend most of the day at the beach, then return to cool down and rest.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the communal outdoor pool, BBQ grill area, elevator, and disabled parking at Island Surf. Beach access is across the street, with Kalama Park and The Cove close by.



The Neighborhood:

Central Kihei puts a beach day close at hand. Kalama Beach Park is across the street for a shoreline stroll, tennis, volleyball, and sunset, while Cove Beach Park next door is a familiar spot for surf lessons and paddleboarding. South Kihei Road provides casual restaurants, coffee, rental shops, and small local stores. The Kamaole Beach Parks are nearby when you want to explore a different stretch of sand. This is a convenient choice for couples who would rather be in the water and on foot than circling for parking.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
