An oasis of relaxation, lush Mediterranean vegetation, and private access to the sea await you at Villa Giuliana near Maratea. The holiday home is located on a 3.5-hectare park-like property, which it shares with the Villa Fabia holiday home and the owner’s holiday home.

The rocky swimming area (about 250 m on foot) on the private property is accessible via a narrow, partly stepped path that leads through a fragrant, shady pine forest.

The villa is ideal for a shared holiday in southern Italy for couples who are friends or families who also value their privacy.
All rooms in Villa Giuliana are on one level; the tasteful furnishings and the fireplace create a cosy atmosphere.
The holiday home features 3 comfortable double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a kitchen, and a living-dining room with a comfortable sofa area, a dining set for 6 people, and access to the terrace with a sea view.

OUTDOOR AREA – On the covered, furnished terrace, you can, for example, enjoy a typical southern Italian “cena” (dinner) featuring delicious meat or fish prepared on the grill. Enjoy the view of the setting sun, which literally sinks into the sea, leaving behind only a red glow.
If you’d like to retreat for a moment and be alone with yourself and nature, we recommend the rooftop terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the sea.
The car park at the house can accommodate up to three cars.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & EXCURSION TIPS
The sea, with a swimming area at the rocky cove, is just 250 m away. The nearest beaches are 1.5 km away. You’ll find shopping and restaurants in the Fiumicello district (3 km) or at the port of Maratea (4 km). Maratea itself is 6 km away.

The 32-km-long coastline of the Basilicata region has a lot to offer: crystal-clear waters, beautiful nature, and—the Redentore, the 21-meter-tall statue of Christ. Created by the Florentine sculptor Bruno Innocenzi, the statue is definitely worth a visit.

Be sure to plan a day in Maratea as well. You can enjoy “La Dolce Vita” over a creamy cappuccino. Don’t leave Maratea without buying fresh vegetables and fruit at the market. The friendly market vendors are happy to welcome every customer. For those who’d like to explore the coast by boat, boat tours are organised from Porto Maratea from May through mid-October.
