Great spot for a relaxing weekend with friends and great spot for the kids to play at the lake. The house was clean and well stocked and Kim was a fantastic hostess. Will book again
This was our third summer here and once again we had a wonderful time.
We had a minor hiccup our first day and Kim was quick to fix the issue. She is very easy to work with and we will be back!
Another year in the books. We love our stay at Kim’s lake house. It has a real cabin feel and is very comfortable for our family. The fishing is great, water is clean and the yard is perfect for enjoying the summer weather. Kim is an excellent host. We cannot wait for our trip next summer.
Family from all over came to Montesano, Wa for a family wedding. Several of us stayed in this beautiful lake front home. 100% recommended staying here.
The host was great with communication. Always pleasant to talk with! The property is on one of the best locations in the lake for fishing. Can catch right from the dock! Would 100% stay again!
Once again our family had an amazing time here. The house was perfect and the lake was just what we needed. Would stay here again next year and ever year after. Thanks for the memories. Such an incredible home.

This property is quickly becoming our favorite! It feels like home every time we’re there; the kitchen is great (Kim provides a lot of essentials), the dock is visible from most rooms in the house so I could let my kids play but still keep an eye on them, and the beds are super comfy! We’re already planning next year’s stay.
This was our second stay at this Summit Lake home, and we enjoyed it just as much as our first. The home is exactly as advertised and always immaculate. Kim is an awesome host and is responsive to any questions that come up. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing time swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and just hanging out. We hope to come back for another stay.
What a fabulous vacation on a beautiful lakefront location! We couldn't have asked for more except better spring weather! But even with the wind and rain, we caught tons of bass and trout off the dock, and also enjoyed hours playing games in the large open area upstairs. It's a perfect house for 6 people, with plenty of space for our 3 grandsons to escape to their own rooms. The kitchen looked out towards the lake through the glass doors and windows, and had everything we could possibly need in it to cook our family's meals. Easy to contact, and a delight to communicate with, the owners were very generous to leave a large supply of bottled drinking water! What a memorable Memorial Day weekend!
This is not your modern day, brand new construction home. This is a true lake house- wood walls, pink bathroom, etc. We loved every minute of our stay. The entire property is well maintained, obviously loved and completely comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with every bowl & utensil on earth. The house stayed cool even on our 85 degree days. The house feels larger than the pictures capture. The owner, Kim, is fantastic. The neighbors are kind and the waterfront is perfect for playing, swimming and fishing. The water is clean & clear. The grassy backyard us perfect for playing or relaxing. This place has everything! My 2 yr old, 6 yr old & 70 yr old mom all had a ball! Thank you so much for everything. We already booked our next stay.

Beautiful Lake and home!
Summit Lake review
We would highly recommend staying at this home. Our time here was spent mainly swimming, relaxing and grilling.
Both levels of the house have comfortable patio furniture. The entire home, in fact, is incredibly comfortable. Each level has a TV, bedroom and bathroom, and a lake view. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything one might possibly need. The large corner jacuzzi tub was a nice surprise too. Magazines are even set out for one's perusing.
The lake is clear and clean- great for swimming. During the warm weekend it can became quite busy with motor boats and jet skis. The early mornings and late evenings seem best for fishing, kayaking and swimming. The wildlife is abundant here. Expect to see osprey, ducks, geese, and raccoons. We even saw a Doe and two fawns on a neighbors' lawn...so please drive carefully!
We had a wonderful stay and hope to return again soon!
We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. It was clean and bigger than we thought. Our kids slept on the pull out sofa bed that had an extra pad on it with no complaints. It was also separate from the bedroom downstairs which was a nice surprise. There was plenty of room to spread out both indoors and outdoors. Lots of water toys (floaties, water guns, etc) were available at the house. We never inflated the ones we brought! There was only 1 youth life jacket so plan for that if you need more.
Our kids played in the lake everyday, even in 58 degrees weather before the wind chill. It starts off very shallow and gets deep at the end of the dock. The kids could jump off the dock. The water was very clear. My husband caught fish off the end of the dock. There is a no wake rule in the morning until 11 so it was a nice quiet time to swim, fish, or in my case drink coffee by the fire. Great views and just the right size lake for us.
The house came with lots of spices, bottled water, and the kitchen was full of cookware. The only thing we couldn't find was a griddle. We used the bbq for most meals.
The house was very clean with plenty of towels, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. You really just need to pack clothes and food. There is a fridge downstairs as well as in the kitchen.
Kim was great and answered all of our questions. We would love to go back!
One other thing...the pictures showed a fire pit and it must have been upgraded to a propane fire table more recently. We brought firewood and found out we didn't need it.
We always enjoy staying at the lake house. This was our third time. Hosts are terrific and the location in top-shelf.
We've already reserved next year.
Kids and I had a relaxing, fun time at this charming lake house. Beautiful lake and my daughter and her friends spent hours on their paddle boards and jumping off the dock. Perfect way to end our summer before school started back up!
