Romantic villa with good facilities, incl. grage for 2 cars, large kitchen, wide balcony, nice swimming pool and spectacular lake and mountain view.Be aware: house is located on small road, up in mountains,. Entrance reached by multiple stairs (not suitable for people with reduced mobility). Surrounded by similar housings and buildings in quiet area. Centre of Minusio, Tenero and Locarno within 5-10 min. (by car) and nice walking paths 30-45 min. In house traditionally furnished, outside basic seating (old) but high end BBQ (OFYR and gas). No climate control (recommendation: extra fans would be comfortable/essential if temp. 30 degrees.)Fantastic host!Supurb for trips and visits around Lagio Magiore.

Accueil tres sympathique et chaleureux par propriétaire.Propreté,espace,confort,installations conformes aux attentes.Situation et vue exceptionnelles.Piscine interne très agréable avec accès aisé au jardin par de larges baies vitrées coulissantes.Seul bémol, nous aurions apréciés qu'il y ait davantage de chaises longues dans le jardins au vu du nombre de couchages.

Sehr schöne und gut ausgestattete Villa mit super Seeblick und Hallenbad. Hundefreundlich !Die Zufahrt ist mit grösserem Fahrzeug etwas beschwerlich aufgrund der Enge der Via Albaredo. Dies ist jedoch für die Region typisch.

Geräumiges Haus mit wunderschönem Blick über den Lago Maggiore. Auf der großen Terrasse kann man sich wunderbar aufhalten, Grillen und die Aussicht genießen. Die Lage in Nähe von Locarno und Ascona ist ideal. Man muss gut zu Fuß sein, um von der Garage über die Treppen ins Haus zu gelangen. Die Küche und der großzügige Essbereich sind hochwertig ausgestattet (mit integrierter Kaffeemaschine in der Gaggenau Küche). Mehr als ausreichend Duschen und Toiletten sind vorhanden. Das übrige Mobiliar ist jedoch in die Jahre gekommen. An einem Schrank fehlten Türen, die Sitzmöbel und Betten sind älteren Datums. Der TV im Wohnzimmer hatte einen scheppernden Ton. Was für uns wirklich enttäuschend war: Das Wasser im Indoor Pool war für uns 4 Personen für einen Indoorpool gefühlt zu kalt, um sich länger darin aufzuhalten, er ist für kleinere Kinder ungeeignet. Auf Nachfrage hat uns der Vermieter mitgeteilt, dass die Temperatur von 25 Grad (Thermometer im Wasser zeigte 23) aus technischen Gründen nicht geändert werden kann. Der Pool eignet sich daher nur für ein erfrischendes Schwimmen. Ein weiteres großes Problem, das uns am ersten Morgen „kalt erwischt hat“: Schräg oberhalb des Hauses ist seit November 2025 eine Großbaustelle. Das bedeutet, dass seither täglich mit einem Baggerhammer Stein aus dem Felshang geschlagen wird, um das Fundament vorzubereiten. An allen Werktagen, von morgens 8 Uhr bis abends 17 Uhr, war dieses Hammergeräusch unterschwellig dauerhaft hörbar – Stand Mai 2026.

Liebe Feriengäste Danke für Ihren Kommentar. Die Wassertemperatur im Pool ist in der Zwischenzeit von den entsprechenden Technikern angepasst worden, sodass sicherlich 25 Grad vorhanden ist. Eine Badetemperatur für Kleinstkinder wie in Ihrem Falle ist dies jedoch wohl immer noch etwas zu gering (PS: müsste wohl 28-30 Grad sein um passend zu sein für Kinder unter einem Jahr) Den aktuellen Baulärms in der Nachbarschaft für das Fundament der dort entstehenden Villa würde aber kann ich leider nicht beeinflussen, habe mich jedoch erkundigt und die diesbezüglichen intensiven Arbeiten sollten jetzt im Frühsommer 2026 abgeschlossen sein, sodass ein entspannter Urlaub genossen werden kann.
