We had a wonderful stay at Westview! The property was very spacious and comfortably fit my large group of 16. The sights and dock were stunning. Pamela was very easy to reach and very helpful. It was a wonderful stay!

Stayed here with a group of friends for the July 4 holiday. Fit 13 of us comfortably and had enough supplies for the group. It’s - bit rustic, but in a good way! The dock house was the perfect hangout spot and we parked a boat here overnight. Was not able to get a hold of the hosts through messaging when we had some non-urgent questions which we were eventually able to answer ourselves. No towels provided. You cannot beat the location! We loved lake George!
Went with a group of friends to fish and enjoy Lake George. The House is a great place to rest your head, but the Lake House is where its at. Plenty of room for 8 of us to relax, play games and enjoy the views. Great for docking the boats, and the hang out area at lake level is icing on the cake.

Thank you. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at Westview.
Everything was totally clean when we arrived. We booked the main house, apartment, and boat house; plenty of room/space for 16 people. Basically hung out at the boat house all weekend. Perfect for barbecuing, lounging, and swimming. Dock was perfect to tie up 2 boats. Up kept place.
It is hard to find properties in this price range that can handle 15 people. Main house, apartment and boat house all clean and well stocked. The house is historic and old. It is not Ritz level luxury but it has great accommodations and a good spot on the lake. We didn't do any boating, but if you have a boat it is a good setup. Owner checked in with us and was very gracious. Would definitely stay there again.
The Boathouse is a dream! We did a family trip with parents and a bunch of teenagers — some stayed at the house, and some camped offsite nearby on the island. The dock was perfect for family BBQs, fishing, and easily fit a boat and two WaveRunners. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood but is just a quick drive from the action in town. The accommodations were clean, and the kitchens were well-stocked with everything we needed for meal prep. The Boathouse is definitely the nicest spot on the property. The main house is older but has a lot of charm.A few helpful notes:•Bring your own towels. There’s washers and dryers to clean them — in the boathouse too which was convenient for our pool towels when we finished boating.•The main house doesn’t have A/C but has plenty of fans. It was comfortable for us with nights in the 60s. Boathouse and Apartment have A/C.•The Boathouse bedroom was a little noisy from the pump below it. There’s also a very comfortable futon in the living room, you wake up to amazing views of the lake there!Overall, this is a great setup with lots of bedrooms and multiple kitchens, perfect for large groups. There are plenty of shared spaces but also lots of flexibility and privacy when you want it.Would definitely stay here again!

Dream Lake House Location | Maintenance & Updating Needed
Location at this home was outstanding. Beautiful lake front views with direct boat access made this such a memorable trip with my family. The commute from Westview to Lake George Village was great and there is a small convenient store right down the road in case we needed anything. Queensbury wasn’t too far either which allowed us to get any other products we needed for our stay. There was space provided to dock our boat. There were also lake toys provided which my niece and nephew enjoyed.
However there were a few things not to our liking which is why we gave Westview 3 out of 5 stars.
There was no ac provided which was fine but some of the fans in the units were not working. My parents had a hard time sleeping because of the heat. When it does get warm the units get very hot and it is very hard to get a good night’s rest. I had to purchase portable ac units to help cool the home. There were also ants and cobwebs in the units which we needed to clean. The owner was able to send an exterminator to provide us traps to get rid of the ants which was good but they kept coming.
Some of the sheets provided seemed old and not too clean. I also think they need to update the pictures in the listing because it appears that towels are provided when none are. My family in the boathouse found a hole in the floor by the washer which allowed a mouse to get into the unit. Again, the owner was very communicative stating she would be getting an exterminator right away.

Dear Carlos,
Thank you for providing feedback on your stay. I am glad you like the location of Westview with the beautiful views and access to many attractions. I am sorry that you had a few issues during your stay, and when brought to my attention these issues were dealt with immediately.
In my welcome instructions, I kindly ask that if there is anything that you find needs attention to please call me. It is my desire to help you have the best stay possible. I indicate on my site that there is no AC, so you knew that when you made the reservation. There are many fans of all shapes and sizes provided in all units. If you had let me know about the 2 damaged fans, I would have replaced them immediately. As indicated on my site and in my contract, towels are not provided and that was reiterated in your welcome instructions. I do provide dish towels in each unit. We have never experienced the tiny sugar ants you discovered, and I am sorry you had to experience that. However, I did get an exterminator there immediately to address the issue. My cleaning crew is very professional and very thorough. I purchase new linens at the start of each rental season, and they are professionally cleaned before each stay. I wish you had contacted me and brought the issue to my attention regarding the linens in question. I could not find the issue you referenced; however, my cleaning service has been made aware of it and will be more discerning.
Westview is a waterfront property in the country. Cobwebs appear on a daily basis and are cleaned in between stays. I was unaware of the hole in the floor near the washer in the boathouse and it has been sealed. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Mickey will no longer be making a visit to the boathouse.
It was my pleasure to meet many of your guests who told me they were having a fabulous time at Westview and that they loved it. I was also very accommodating by making an exception to my "No Pet Policy" and allowing your little dog to stay with you. It is my goal to ensure that all of my guests have a wonderful experience and a comfortable stay at Westview.
Sincerely,
Pamela
We have been going to Lake George since my kids were little bc of my husbands side of the family. It was always too rustic for me but learned to love it bc the kids did. I was so impressed with cleanliness, the kitchen was equipped, tons of storage, the VIEWS are MAGNIFICENT!!!
The property was great for a large group. I would caution that the dock becomes extremely slippery when wet and the stairs down to the water may be difficult for elderly travelers. Otherwise it was perfect for our family and we enjoyed many beautiful evenings cooking out over the water and enjoying great sunsets. Pamela was very responsive to any issues and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
We want to thank our host, Pam, for such a wonderful week at Westview. Our entire Family grandchildren, adult children and grandparents had such a fun time and a great weather week! The location was perfect and close to everything. The 3 homes accommodated everyone very well. Thank you again.

I actually give this property a 4.5. It was ideal for my family group having three separate living quarters. We had two toddlers and a one year old so the accommodations made it possible for naps and bedtimes that weren’t affected by the noise of others in the group who could come down to the boathouse and interact without fear of waking the young ones. The house itself is dated but it suited our needs, the boathouse was really great with a panoramic view of the lake. The dock was a great place to fish or swim from. The house is in a residential neighborhood and very quiet. We were able to take walks and ride bikes in the neighborhood without much traffic, there is a general store about a mile and a half down the road. Lake George Village is a 10-15 minute drive away and some in the group went into Glens Falls and Saratoga Springs which are short distances away. There are some things to be aware of, the shower water pressure is not very strong, the steps to the boathouse are very steep so younger children and older adults could experience problems going up and down. There was also some problems with the cable and internet at the boathouse but there had been a couple of bad storms which could have contributed to this glitch. All in all the whole experience was a positive one, it was the first time in 2 years that we were together and we were as a group very happy with the property. If you have a large group with diverse ages this is an ideal venue for your family to stay at.
We loved our stay on the Lake! The units were perfect for our ever-growing family …neat, clean with ample living spaces and privacy. Pam is accessible, courteous and accommodating . The location is wonderful and the bay is superb for swimming, floating kayaking and boating of all kinds! We will be returning !
First off, Pam was amazing with her communication and being accommodating. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with! As for the property, the pictures don’t do it justice. We had 13 adults and 3 kids. The bedrooms in the four bed house were just the right size and has a nice screened in porch. The two bedroom cottage is right off the main house and has its own deck looking over the water. The boathouse was the best part, awesome open room overlooking the water, full kitchen, nice bedroom and full bath. Underneath the boathouse is a covered area, perfect for playing cornhole and the fishing was amazing. Unfortunately Mother Nature wasn’t cooperating but we still had an unbelievable time in this awesome property. Highly recommend!
While the main house is a little dated it really didn’t matter, We’ve been going to lake George since we were children and this was one of the best properties that we’ve been on. The view was unmatched and the ease of check was perfect.
Having 3 separate units on one lakefront property provided both privacy and intimacy. Watching the sunsets at night w/ extended family after a great meal on the outdoor grill was priceless. Room for both our boat and Sea-Doo. We’ll be back :-)
Westview has a real summer cottage feel. It's on a quiet street perfect for walking/running but lakeside is lively enough to entertain the kids, watching the boats (big and little), having fun in the water. Plenty of dock space here, which was wonderful to relax on and plenty of space between properties so you don't feel like you're on top of your neighbors. With the additional accommodations over the boathouse, it was possible to stay by the water all day without trekking back and forth to the main house. Pamela is an attentive host, not that we had any issues or problems that needed to be addressed. Experience was, in a word, lovely.
Beautiful location in a standard lakeside cottage. It has flexibility of sleeping arrangements but boathouse is accessed by several stairs and uneven flagstones which can be difficult to negotiate for some. It has many amenities but is not modernised so don't expect luxury.
A beautiful place, great host (Pamela), awesome location, and breathtaking view of the lake and sunset. We have picked this place among many choices for our family reunion, two birthdays, triathlon racing and enjoyment of our long labor day weekend. Everything was just perfect and everyone has enjoyed this place with it's full amenities.. Pam is a great host, she is so friendly and made herself accessible for all our needs during our stay. We have all decided to come back again soon... our family of 9 kids and 7 adults have all enjoyed the time spent in this house. The boathouse was a perfect place for the kids; swiming,... thank you Pam
Everything from check-in to check-out was very smooth and easy. The location is incredible, right on the lake with swimming and the use of a dock where we had our rented boat for several days. Enough room for everyone with separate spaces to enjoy a good book, play a board game, or just watch the sunset. Highly recommend.

My family has been coming to Lake George for many many years. We love the outdoor activities and enjoy being together. It is our paradise!
Why they chose this property
Westview is a unique property. We love the sunset views and the view of Long Island and Assembly Point are spectacular. It's location on the east side of the lake gives us easy access to various amenities like grocery stores. We love that Cleverdale Road is very quiet giving us the opportunity to do a lot of walking and bike riding. The layout of Westview with the three separate units makes it very nice for us to have large family gatherings for extended periods of time.
What makes this property unique
Westview is right on the water with plenty of dock space for boats. It is close to town, shopping, golf, amusement park, and many other attractions
