The hosts were gracious, accommodating, organized and great with communication. The rental was perfect for us as a couple visiting San Francisco for the weekend. Would absolutely stay here again if visiting the city.

We always stay at this property when in SF - about 3 or 4 times a year. West Portal is a great location. The studio is perfect - comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and all kitchen necessities.

Great experience from start to finish. Amazing location. Far enough away from downtown, but close to public transportation. The west Portal neighborhood was so pretty and very lively. We loved our time there.

It was perfect for us. It was a nice, quiet spot with a kitchen, comfortable bed, and a nice shower. It's right near the Muni and a bunch of restaurants. The host was really nice and welcoming and went out of the way to make sure everything was all set.

Thanks, we keep our kitchenette stocked with cold sparkling water, Peet's coffee, an assortment of teas, and cocoa for hot chocolate. And there's plenty of room in our full-sized refrigerator and freezer for all of guests' own provisions!

Great space for our needs. Parking is easy to find, but be aware that if you are parking during a weekday you have to move your car every two hours or park further away from the property. Otherwise it was great. Very kind hosts!

Unlimited parking is available nights and weekends, and for daytime parking longer than two hours, guests can park on nearby Portola Ave, a short block away visible from our home.

Generous hosts offered sparkling water variety, hot beverage options and even Muni cards! Spotless rooms, close proximity to West Portal restaurants and shops, street parking and beautiful flowering trees & plants. Very quiet! Kind interaction with host as we were leaving one day. Spent 98% of time away at family’s home but kitchen could have been useful. Will return!

The rental space was clean and well appointed - a comfortable bed with extra pillows and blankets, a space heater, bathroom with the basics including a generous supply of towels, and a nice kitchen with appliances and utensils enough to make a simple breakfast or warm up left overs. Stuart was a welcoming host who was responsive to any questions or requests. The location could not be better. We would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable studio in a nice neighborhood. The host was responsive and provided clear direction for check in and check out. We were in the San Francisco for five days to attend to health care appointments at UCSF. This place was close and convenient. The rest of the city can be reached by transit, which is within walking distance. The only challenge was parking due to the time limits and street cleaning schedule. I found other reviewers comments about accessing the studio through the garage amusing. The garage was nearly vacant and extremely orderly - an example I should aspire to at my own home!

Parking is unrestricted nights and weekends. On weekdays there is two-hour parking from 8-6 PM, or all day parking which is always available just one block away. We don't use our garage much, so the alley and garage entry is almost completely private for our guests.

This place was perfect for my husband and I while we were visiting friends who live in the neighborhood. It was quiet, easy to get into from the street, and had a full-sized kitchen. It really feels like its own apartment! The big window next to the bed that looks out to the bay is great too. Stuart was very nice and said hello when we visited his beautiful back garden for a few minutes. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m visiting my friends.
