As always my Family and I had another amazing time at Gene's property. We have been coming here for a decade Gene always makes it a time to remember. The memories we made will last a lifetime. I highly recommend this property.

The house was really great for us. The property was spacious, clean, well taken care, and had a great variety of amenities! Privacy was great and everything we could ever possibly need was there for us! The 2 refrigerators and 3 washer/drier sets were also great! We loved this place and would come again!!!

This is an amazing property for our extended family vacation. The site is beautiful, peaceful, and everything was immaculately clean. There is so much to do nearby - hikes, Lake Placid sites, beautiful views everywhere. It took a little effort to find the trail down to the Au Sable River, but we found it! Gene was very responsive throughout the whole process. This is a truly special place.

My whole family appreciated and enjoyed their time at The Grand Ebs View Lodge.It is spacious with seating for all at the table for eating or lounging in the living room in front for the fire as well as plenty of sleeping options. The outdoor fire pit had enough chairs for everyone to enjoy being around it.The house is well stocked and clean with nice amenities. The hot tub is roomy with a view. We had fun in the rec room when it rained. The owners provide good details about what is at the house and how to get in etc. Making check in and check out easy. Including directions to be sure you arrive at the house easily. They were also very accessible with any questions I had during my stay. We have stayed as a family at quite a few rentals and we all would highly recommend planning a stay here. Also, if you enjoy hiking it is close to the high peaks.

Amazing Stay

Every year I plan a small get away with my friends and this stay has by far been the best! The house is spacious and has amazing amenities. It is not far from Whiteface Mountain which is great. I highly recommend this property!

Grand Ebs View Lodge

The lodge was the perfect place to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. The location was private but easy to find and convenient to ski mountains and hikes. The lodge was clean, well equipped and there was plenty of space for the 12 of us. We loved the hot tub and sauna. We would definitely stay again!

Christmas vacation

We had an incredible time at this lovely home. It was clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. They even had a Christmas tree up for us to decorate, which was a pleasant surprise. Everyone had great things to say and I’d highly recommend for large groups.

Excellent house, with great location

Beautiful home in a great location. We have rented from Gene the last several years. He is always available and addresses any issues in the rare case there are any. Highly recommend any of his properties.

New years week with friends

Incredible house and property and the best host you’ll ever have. The house had everything you could possibly ask for, location was perfect with lovely restaurants right down the street and a short scenic drive from Whiteface mountain. Will definitely be coming back soon and making this trip a tradition.

College Hiking Reunion

Great location, very centrally located for a variety of hikes. Comfortably fit our group of 14 and we definitely could have fit more people without feeling cramped. We loved the firepit and sauna. Gene was very helpful!

Great stay

This was a great house for our big group. Every family had their own bathroom which was incredibly helpful and it had good hangout space for all age groups. The directions in the contract are important to follow as Google maps brings you to the wrong location. The property is clean and well taken care of. We would stay there again!

LOVED Our Stay in this Beautiful Home!

We can't say enough great things about this beautiful home! We recently rented this property to host our elopement and it couldn't have been more perfect. Our families stayed with us (12 people total) and there was plenty of room for us all to stay comfortably. Everyone loved the house and the view! Gene was a super accommodating host and easy to work with. We are so happy we chose this location and shared the experience of staying here with those closest to us!

Fantastic family fun!!

We, Grandma and Grandpa, gathered 11 of our children and grandchildren all at once, for the first time. We traveled by car & train, from Florida, two places in VA, and 4 places in NY. As each person entered the lodge, the comment was a variation of "wow!"

Perfect for a Large Family

PERFECT house for a large family. Grandparents, Parents, and Children of all ages were able to comfortably stay and enjoy the property. Great game room in the lower level, spacious rooms and all the staples you would hope a rental has in the kitchen, plus a crib, pack and play, games, etc. Property Manager was responsive and great, we hope to continue our tradition at their properties for years to come!!

Amazing Property!!

We have a large family gathering every year, getting bigger every year. We fit perfectly with about 20 from 8 months to 75! We had a great time; this is an amazing well-kept property in a quiet location and close to Lake Placid. The owner is great to work with, they are very accommodating and attentive. We are already planning for next year with them!

Excellent stay

Gene's place was perfect for my family and friends. The house was a great fit for 12 people including young children. I would definitely stay here again. Gene does a great job including plenty information about the house and what to expect checking in and out. Gene provides more than helpful directions how to get to the house because the house is not found on google maps. It's your own little hideaway that we would stay at year after year.
