Villa Residenza la Fonte with a large private garden, is located in the small village of Casale located in the heart of the Tuscan Apennines, immersed in the enchanting Tuscan countryside and surrounded by panoramic views of the Casentinesi Forestry National Park. If you love trekking and relaxation this is the place for you.

A few kilometers you can visit the hometown of Giotto and Cimabue, the Etruscan archaeological excavations and Dicomano is only 10 minutes away where you can find shops, supermarkets and banks.

From the small railway station in Dicomano you can comfortably take a direct train in the center of Florence in just 30 minutes, saving yourself the hauling of city traffic and parking.

The Lake of Bilancino, a perfect alternative to the sea with all the imaginable water sports for rent, is only 20 km from the property and the infinite long beaches of the Adriatic coast are 140 km.

For trekking lovers and naturalistic excursions there are numerous routes in the woods of the Casentino Forest Park to the tops of Monte Falterona where the Arno river is born or to reach the small waterfalls of Calabuia.

(ground floor and with access from the private garden of the main villa): living/dining area, a double bedroom, one double sofa bed in the living /dining area and 1 bathroom with shower and fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge, electric hob, dishwasher, toaster, filter coffee maker). From this level you go out into the private garden equipped with table and chairs for eating aout in the fresh air.


Villetta (6 beds) made up of 2 apartments developed on several levels, not connected internally and each with an independent entrance: Upper floor apartment: kitchen ground floor (dishwasher, fridge, freezer, gas stove, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, air conditioning ), dining/living area with satellite TV. 1st fl.: 2 double bedrooms (the beds can be separated on request), 1 bathroom with shower.

Lower level apartment: Gr. floor: dining/living area with kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster, electric hobs), 1 double bedroom (twin beds on request), 1 bathroom with shower.

The distinctive feature of the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, where the villa is located, in addition to nature, is spirituality: they call it the sacred forests park.


The "Waterfalls of the Aquacheta" described by Dante in the XVI canto of the Inferno of the Divine Comedy, take their name from Acquacheta, the most important affluent of the Montone, that, with a jump of over 70 meters, is an authentic natural spectacle.
