We had great time. Property is nice and clean with plenty of space in and out.
Zoe was realy helpful.
This is ideal location for see visits and lovely walks as there is plenty to chose from.
Will definately be back.
Stayed in this lovely property previously.A welcome return , everything provided, wonderful host, with local knowledge of walks, interests, and local eateries. Sunsets over the sea with a tipple /tea a must. You will not be disappointed.
We had a brilliant weekend here! The cottage is really cosy, and very well equipped, there's everything you need and also warm. The view from the window to the sea is absolutely stunning! The photos don't do this cottage justice to be honest. The owners are very welcoming and nice people. The local Chinese food takeaways also deliver to the property which is a good bonus. We would highly recommend this cottage. Thank you 😀

The property was just perfect for us!
We stayed at the property for four nights. Myself, my husband and our son who is 2 1/2 years old.
The property was immaculate and the owner, Zoe was on hand to answer any questions we had.
We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay and the property was well equipped with everything we needed and more..
The view of the sea was lovely.....I spent most evenings just lying on the sofa staring at the sea out of the window in the living room!
Our son loved the games room and all the sea trinkets and pictures around the cottage.
We would highly recommend the cottage for others with a family.

Thank you so much for the review and it was lovely to meet you all. When the property is not being let out we also enjoy looking out at the sea from the comfort of the sofa, watching the ships sail by. Thanks for being such kind and thoughtful guests!

Spectacular Views, pleasant stay - we'll definitely be staying again!
Sea View Mews - beautiful, unspoilt views across the bay, an abundance of charm and a very welcoming home from home feel.
We were warmly welcomed by Zoe shortly after arrival, who shared her knowledge of the area with us and explained the facilities on offer. The kids headed straight for the games room which was equipped with a pool table, table football and table tennis - they were occupied for hours. The house itself is very inviting and we instantly relaxed into our holiday.
Sea View Mews was the ideal location for us to visit the surrounding areas such as Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay, Filey, Hunmanby etc. There were a number of good Pubs and Restaurants nearby and a play area over the road which our 4 year old loved!
We had a lovely time during our stay and will definitely be staying again!

Thank you very much for the review. I am so pleased the holiday was a success after you arrived to no view at all due to sea mist! Fortunately, the rest of the weather was very favourable. You certainly made the most of your stay and looked after the accommodation really well, leaving it very clean and tidy. Thanks again!
We received a very warm welcome from Zoe, whose house adjoins the rental property. Despite the houses being joined, guests access the rental via a different door so the property has the advantage of being private, whilst still having the benefit of the owner next door in case of any problems. Any questions we had were answered promptly by Zoe, who was an extremely accomodating host. The property has a nautical theme and the many homely touches meant we settled in and relaxed immediately. For us, two huge plus points were the outstanding sea view from the bay window and the games room. The property is well situated for visits to neighbouring seaside towns and you can walk down to the beach in Reighton in around 15 mins. There is a bus stop less than a minute walk from the property if you do not fancy driving - we made use of this after walking to Filey and then the weather turning on us! A great stay at this property, we would highly recommend it.
Great location for exploring the East Coast of Yorkshire. Lovely quaint cottage with a nautical feel, felt like a home from home. Clean & well equipt. The games room was a wonderful addition for entertaining our daughter and to top it off it had an amazing sea view. Would definitely recommend & will book again if visiting the area.
Lovely little holiday accommodation. Spectacular views from the lounge window. Only drawback is there was nowhere to get a drink or meal out without having to drive. Other than that it was perfect!
Fantastic views enjoyed from the panoramic lounge window, great games room for older children, nice stroll down to the beach and along to Filey. Well located for exploring East Riding.
What a great family break at a cottage which was so well equipped, clean and comfy. Fabulous views and host! Could not have asked for more.

Excellent base .
Think we upset owner by arriving to early (never spoke to us all week)
Property everything you would want ,but local amenities (pubs)poor out of three
1 full booked 1 not doing food and one closed due to illness. Guess we picked wrong week ,be prepared to travel for food ect .Otherwise very enjoyable break.
This was the first holiday we’ve had since 2019 and we only stayed here for 3 nights, but it was worth the wait! We were so lucky to find such a lovely property in such a great location! Our 2 year old loved visiting the seaside, and it was so convenient to be close enough to get back in time for an afternoon nap. I was slightly concerned about the stairs beforehand, as we live in a bungalow, but Zoe (the friendly owner) provided a stair gate, and it actually turned out to be good practice for our little one. We would love to return some time (although it unfortunately, and understandably looks to be fully booked for next year).
Fantastic location if you want a semi rural and property has fabulous views of the bay
The host Zoe was very welcoming and friendly. We loved where the property was situated and the fantastic views. The games room in the property was an added bonus and also been able to have use of a pool nearby was great.

Great experience though it's a short stay. We missed the pool and gym though. Zoe is so lovely.
Lovely place. We might come back next year if checking in time changed to at least 2pm and checking out of 12noon at least instead of 3pm -10am for overnight stay. 3 Hours is a great time for more fun in that place. Swimming pool and gym should be till 10pm so we can use it too after swimming in the beach. Just saying

Thank you for the review Gemma and for choosing Sea View Mews. Your one night stay was a one off as I don't normally offer such short stays. The property needs to be properly cleaned and aired between visitors and so I won't be changing the arrival and departure times which are quite normal for self catering.
The pool is privately run and staffed with it's own business hours. Pool sessions need to be booked so that covid-19 regulations can be applied properly.
After a lovely welcome from zoe,the owner we explored our home for next 6 days
We were not disappointed in the slightest from the breathtaking sea view s,to the extremely large master bedroom with the comfiest of beds.
The girls loved there twin room they also said how comfy there beds were!!
it’s got everything you will need and more big fluffy towels to a vast array of books….some really good books too!
the kitchen is extremely well equipped with good quality cookware etc.
The games room is a great place to hang out.
The grounds are just beautiful zoe is doing a fab job with all the beautiful flowers which you can enjoy while reading a book on the very relaxing corner sofa,we had some lovely walks to the beach and highly recommend the honeypot pub for food a lovely country pub(u may want to book as it’s very popular but not crowded)

We spent a week in sea view mews, the cottage had everything we need from fully equipped kitchen to stylish rooms and living room with nice sea view. The cottage is super clean with attention to details like the decorations reflecting the country style. Zoe, the host, is friendly and cheerful and made our stay enjoyable. We definitely recommend the cottage for nice, relaxing holiday in the country side.
Really nice place , ultra clean and fab location for exploring Filey. Zoe great host and everything in the property you would need and more- games room a bonus and outside seating area a real sun trap would book again
Zoe the owner lives in the adjacent part of the building. Quiet location. Accommodation well equipped, clean and tidy. Lovely view of the sea and filey Bay from the 1st floor lounge. Just 1/2 mile walk down to the sea. Just 15mins drive South is RSPB Bempton cliffs , we visited several mornings in our May visit whilst thousands of birds were nesting. If you want more activities perhaps for kids, both Filey and Bridlington are nearby. Burton Agnes Hall is a delightful rare house with many Elizabethan features
furniture a 'family art collection' that spans centuries and styles, lots of knowledgeable guides, delightful gardens and stuff for the kids including adventure play area. Cliff walks near Flamborough head and woodland walks in places like Danes Duke. Sorry our holiday day was only 5 days, but at least going May /June we caught the magical breeding seabirds including a few puffins , garden and wild flowers.
