This fully furnished apartment, in a chalet, on the garden level is located 2.5 km from the center of Chamonix. After enjoying the entertainment in the city center, you can rest in peace.
To refuel you have a small shopping center 600 m away.
Buses and trains are free throughout the valley, with the guest card given to the tenant upon arrival.
Hiking in summer, or contemplative snowshoeing in winter, the Bossons glacier, the Merlet free-range animal park, climbing rocks, tree climbing, the Gaillands lakes, are nearby.
the downhill and cross-country ski trails are 2.5 km from the house.
You have all the cultural or sports activities in the center of Chamonix.

Jean-Pierre was a delightful host. He showed us around the area, pointing out local attractions and making sure we knew how to take the nearby transportation. This quaint chalet is in a great location, right on the river, away from the hub-bub of downtown, but close enough to walk or hop on the train. Wonderful views.

Would recommend staying at the chalet for a relaxing spot while visiting Chamonix! While it was a little out of the way from downtown, there are local buses and trains as well as walking paths with beautiful views to get you there. The host family was so welcoming and accommodating, offering to pick us up and drop us off as well as to let us store items at the house while we hiked the TMB. Thank you for your hospitality!

The host was awesome simply lovely stay. There are 3 ways to go the centre of Chamonix each one is really easy and accessible. Everything was amazing and the views were spectacular. I would definitely book again.

Lovely spot!

Perfect stay! The apartment was a great size for the two of us, and even had space for two more! The host was delightful and our room had a beautiful view of the Aiguille de Midi. Will be recommending to everyone looking to come to Chamonix!

Hosts were amazing

The property was lovely and a short bus ride from Chamonix Centre, it was clean and cosy with a lovely kitchen which helped us keep things cheap; but what really sold this to me were the hosts, they were incredibly accommodating picking us up from the bus station after our flight as well as running us in to Chamonix and along to Argentiere with our ski's. Completely amazing and would definitely stay again.

Jean-Pierre has been by far the best host I ever had. 100% recommended, great location with good transport links, insane views and the house has everything that you might need for a lovely stay. Jean-Pierre came to pick us up and they even provided us with dinner as we arrived late due to traffic. We will be coming back. Thank you Jean-Pierre!

Apartment next to the river

We had a very enjoyable stay here in June. The apartment is located between Chamonix and Les Bossons, wedged between the river and the railway line with view over the mountains. We did not have a car, and found it easy to travel using train and bus. Both were approx a 10 minute walk away. The description of the apartment is accurate as are the pictures. The decor is possibly a bit old fashioned but the apartment is well equipped for anything you may need. The area was peaceful and quiet. Please note that the bathroom has a half bath as per the description and a handheld shower head. We felt that the stay could be improved by the addition of a proper shower above the bath. Thank you for making our time in Chamonix memorable.

Insufficient Address for VRBO

We had great difficulty finding the VRBO because only a street name was provided not an actual address. There were many houses on the street but no one recognized the photo of the house we showed them. Fortunately, my daughter speaks French and the owner responded to our phone call and came to pick us up, for which we were very grateful. This would have been unnecessary if a house address had been provided.

Un appartement très agréable offrant une vue sur le Mont Blanc et le glacier des Bossons Nous avons été particulièrement touchés par l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. L'emplacement est idéal pour explorer la région : les transports en commun sont accessibles en 10 minutes à pied et le train gratuit est à proximité.

Accueil exceptionnel!

Nous n'avons jamais reçu un tel accueil ailleurs! Le couple hôte est d'une gentillesse incroyable. La maison est située à côté d'un cours d'eau et près des pistes cyclables et de deux gares. L'environnement est magique. Notre séjour dans cette maison restera l'un des plus beaux souvenirs de notre escapade en Europe.
