A very special location

After our daily trips to the cities of Côte d’Azur we enjoyed our evenings with barbecue on the wonderful terrace of the mill.

Die Mühle ist eine hervorragende Unterkunft und an Einmaligkeit kaum zu überbieten! Zum Einen das Ambiente und zum Anderen der Gastgeber. So einen herzlichen Empfang haben wir noch nie erlebt. Fünf Sterne hierfür. Philippe hat für uns bei der Ankunft gegrillt und eine Flasche Wein und Snacks serviert. Er spricht gut englisch und gab uns einige gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Er wohnt in der Wohnung überhalb und steht sofort bei Bedarf zur Verfügung. Sonst hält er sich vornehm zurück. Für uns war es ein selten schöner Urlaubsaufenthalt. Zum Schluss haben wir ihm noch Oliven und Olivenöl aus eigener Produktion abgekauft. Vielen herzlichen dank dafür!!! Wir haben uns als Freunde verabschiedet.

Un havre de paix au cœur de la garrigueNous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison pleine de charme, idéalement située au milieu de la garrigue. Elle est très bien équipée, confortable, et la literie est de qualité. Même en période de fortes chaleurs, l’épaisseur des murs et la configuration de la bâtisse permettent de conserver une agréable fraîcheur à l’intérieur.Philippe, notre hôte, a été particulièrement attentionné et généreux en conseils pour découvrir les environs. Et quels environs ! Entre nature, balades et petits trésors cachés, tout est réuni pour un séjour ressourçant et authentique.

Mooi gerestaureerde olijfoliemolen in de bergen boven Nice

Deze voormalige olijfoliemolen werd vroeger door een waterrad aangedreven. Hij is prachtig gerestaureerd door de eigenaar, het complete maalwerk is in de woonkamer zichtbaar. Dir geeft een aparte uitstraling aan dit ruime vakantiehuis. De molen ligt rustig maar ook wat afgelegen aan een erg smal asfaltweggetje in de bergen boven Nice. Hou er rekening mee dat je voor alles eerst ruim 20 minuten naar beneden aan het rijden bent, voordat jouw (dag)tocht begint of je boodschappen gaat doen. De eigenaar verblijft in een afgezonderd deel van de molen en respecteert jouw privacy compleet, je ziet hem alleen als dat nodig is of gewenst. Wij werden zeer gastvrij door hem ontvangen met verse olijfolie, brood en worstjes op de BBQ, heel leuk! Een leuk aspect van deze molen is de mogelijkheid om direct er naast af te dalen naar de bergbeek en af te koelen in het lekkere schone water.

Nous avons apprécié chaque instant de notre séjour. La maison est magnifique et très confortable. Le cadre et la région sont fantastiques. Splendide

Moulin chaleureux et accueillant avec le ruisseau à proximité donnant ainsi une ambiance calme et reposante. Philippe, l'hôte, est sympathique, accueillant et généreux. Il est disponible mais également discret. Le restaurant A co de Bela ainsi que la boulangerie/épicerie valent le détour dans ce beau village de Coaraze. La tribu Martin d'Alsace.

Wunderschöne Auszeit in traumhaften Anwesen

Wir haben in der, von Philippe sehr geschmackvoll restaurierten alten Ölmühle, sehr erholsame Tage verbracht. Neben einem tollen Wohn-Esszimmer und einer gut ausgestatteten Küche mit Theke und schönem Essbereich gibt es zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad. Fantastisch ist auch der Außenbereich mit unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten, je nach Sonnenstand :-). Unmittelbar vom Haus aus kann man in eine Schlucht zu einem kleine Fluß mit Bademöglichkeit absteigen. Nach Nizza fährt man ca. 45 Minuten, der oberhalb der Mühle gelegenen Ort Coaraze ist gut 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Coaraze ist ein wahres Schmuckstück, dass, wäre es in Deutschland komplett überlaufen wäre. Hier ist zum Glück alles entspannt und man startet die Besichtigung am besten mit einem Glas Ricard in der Bar unterhalb der Altstadt. Die Mühle ist ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten jeder Art. Beachten muss man natürlich, dass die Fahrtdauer/Kilometer in den Bergen ähnlich der Geschwindigkeit in einer Großstadt ist. Besonders ist die Gastfreundlichkeit und der warmherzige Empfang durch Philippe, den Vermieter, gewesen. Wir haben noch nie so eine ausführliche Einführung in ein Ferienhaus erhalten, inklusive Aperitif mit lokalen Wurstspezialitäten vom Grill! Auch sonst sind die Tipps von Philippe sehr wertvoll, insbesondere für Wanderungen und die besten lokalen Geschäfte. Merci bien Philippe, nous retournons!

Vacances reposantes

Philippe est un hôte très serviable, à l’écoute, mais très discret également. Fraîcheur du moulin très appréciable par grande chaleur, possibilité de baignade à proximité, il faut juste penser à faire le plein de courses avant de profiter pleinement de vacances au calme et/ou baignade, randonnées, visites villages. Ravis de notre séjour

Südfrankreich aus dem Bilderbuch

Wir konnten unseren Urlaub in einem wunderschönen und liebevoll gestaltetem Ambiente verbringen. Das Ferienhaus ist hochwertig und und in allen Belangen bestens ausgestattet, - sowohl die Innenarchitektur und das Mobiliar bestechen durch ihre elegante Schönheit als auch die professionelle Kücheneinrichtung. Auf Sauberkeit wird besonders geachtet. Und im Außenbereich ist u.a. mit einer Lounge für jegliche Entspannung gesorgt. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Betreuung durch den Vermieter, dem es gelingt, Nähe und Freiraum des Gastes in Einklang zu bringen. Unvergesslich eröffnete er uns die Schönheit dieser Region oder stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Fast als Freund... Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

Tolle renovierte Mühle in schöner Landschaft

Hervorragender Aufenthalt. Philippe hat die Mühle stilvoll renoviert. Sehr ansprechende Schlafzimmer - alles sehr sauber und gut zu nutzen. Philippe ist sehr, sehr freundlich und kenntnisreich. Ein toller Gastgeber. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen Wanderurlaub in den Seealpen.

Un bonheur!

Quel bonheur d'avoir Philippe Maisonneuve comme hôte! Ancien moulin très joliment restauré, en pleine nature, à quelques mètres de vasques fraiches, 45mn du rivage, et 1h à peine du parc du Mercantour où on peut faire de si belles balades! L'accueil si chaleureux de Philippe dès l'arrivée, les dizaines de conseils tous plus pertinents les uns que les autres sur les activités, que ce soit spots de balades, sport, lieux à visiter ou activités culturelles...y compris bons restos!! Et que dire des discussions passionnantes sur l'histoire et la géographie de la région! Pour celui qui veut tester Philippe en sport, proposez-lui de faire un running ensemble......mais soyez humble! 15 jours superbes dans cette magnifique région!

Ideales Urlaubsdomizil für ruhige Ferien

Wir haben die Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Haus sehr genossen. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die Berge und an die Küste. Wegen der zahlreichen Kurven muss aber mit mehr Fahrtzeit gerechnet werden. Das Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet und der Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit. Maison et région très agréables

Excellent emplacement permettant d’alterner bains de mer, de rivière et randonnées. La maison est agréable. Accès par petite route étroite. 4G et Wifi limités mais le lieu se prête parfaitement à la déconnexion.

Insolite et exceptionnel, cet ancien moulin à huile vaut le détour

L'ancien moulin à huile est restauré avec attention et très agréable à habiter. Il est calme, frais et à proximité de la rivière où une vasque, à l'ombre, permet de se rafraichir au retour des randonnées. A 3/4 d'heure de la mer et de l'étage alpin, Coaraze est suffisamment loin et proche pour être un très agréable point de chute. Mention spéciale pour l'accueil de Philippe, prévenant et attentif, un grand merci à lui.

Havre de paix entre montagne et mer

nous avons apprécié la convivialité du propriétaire et ses précieux conseils pour profiter au mieux de la région. le moulin est un endroit idéal pour se poser, se reposer tout en offrant la possibilité de faire de multiples activités dans un périmètre restreint. le logement est top. Spacieux, bien aménagé, les pièces sont grandes. Les deux salles de bains (l'une avec douche et l'autre baignoire) sont très fonctionnelles. l'extérieur avec un barbecue de qualité permet de partager en famille des moments très sympas. Nous recommandons cette propriété.

Erster Urlaub nach Corona

Unmittelbar neben einem kühlenden Bach, der 24/7 laut rauscht, bindet sich die sehr toll restaurierte Mühle für 4 Personen. Auch wenn es sehr heiß ist, findet sich zumeist ein Schattenplätzchen, auch am Bach, in dem man auch richtig schwimmen kann! Die Ankunft und Betreuung war perfekt, ein Welcome Menue wurde präsentiert, wirklich super! Philippe musste die Messer selbst schärfen, man lernt es schnell. Haus und Bäder einwandfrei, Terassen und Parkmöglichkeiten gut, alles für vier Personen gut ausreichend! Die Mühle liegt weit außerhalb eines nettes Dorfes, wandern ohne Probleme, Radfahren nur mit Rennrädern sehr gut, Joggen auf kleineren Wegen eher schwierig aber vom Haus aus möglich, 3km bergauf die Straße entlang. Einkaufen im Ort oder in Contes 20min mit Auto erreichbar, 25min bis zum Supermarche. Nizza auch gut erreichbar, insbesondere der Rückweg aus der Stadt geht über sehr zu empfehlenden Tunnel extrem schnell! In der Summe Tolle Location, sehr zu empfehlen, eine Woche ist eher zu kurz! Danke an Philippe!!

Un petit coin de paradis !

Un petit coin de paradis ! Pour ceux qui recherchent le calme et la tranquillité, c’est l’endroit idéal ! Cet ancien moulin à huile est magnifique, bien aménagé, les deux terrasses bien agréables et l’accès direct à la rivière en dessous de la bâtisse est des plus sympas. L’accueil est très chaleureux, avec l’apéro-grillades. Le propriétaire est très discret et toujours dispo. La situation dans l’arrière-pays niçois est idéale entre la Méditerranée et le Mercantour. Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour et y retournerons volontiers !

Très belles vacances.

Merci beaucoup à Philippe pour son accueil extrêmement chaleureux et pour sa disponibilité. Il nous a permis de passer une tres belle semaine de vacances et de profiter de la région. Séjour parfait! La maison est très belle et bien aménagée. Elle se situe juste à côté d'une rivière dans laquelle on peut se baigner et qui réjouit les enfants. Nous n'hésiterons pas à repasser des vacances là-bas.
