Classic Cape Cod home 5 blocks from the heart of downtown Vineyard Haven and the Island ferry terminal. The house has been thoughtfully-renovated and updated resulting in guests who enjoy coming again and again.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, this traditional home sleeps 7 guests in 4 bedrooms with 2 baths. Guests can leave the car in the driveway and leisurely stroll into town for a morning cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, shopping or to catch a bus at the ferry terminal to visit another Island town.

The first floor offers a spacious living room with fireplace, game table and cable TV. The dining room opens into a kitchen gleaming with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar. For outdoor eating, the kitchen conveniently opens onto a private and nicely landscaped, bluestone patio with table/chairs/umbrella and BBQ grill. Around the corner is an enclosed private outdoor shower for a quick rinse after a sandy day at the beach.

Sleeping arrangements offer three bedrooms and full bath/shower on the second floor. On the main floor is a fourth bedroom with an adjacent bathroom and ample-sized shower... great for Grandma and Grandpa or guests who may need quiet space.

Other features include hardwood floors throughout the house; washer/dryer on the main floor; and central air conditioning and WiFi.

One block away is the public library with a children's section for entertainment on rainy days. For sports-minded travelers, Mink Meadow Golf Course is up the road, and the VH Yacht Club is a few blocks away. Beautiful Farm Neck Country Club, offering public play in the afternoon to non-members, is 6 miles away. In downtown Vineyard Haven, there are car, bike and moped rentals and access to the Island-wide bus system.

Wonderful stay!

My family (2 adults, 2 kids under 3) traveled with our friends (2 adults + 1 year old) to this property. We had an amazing stay. The home was clean and welcoming. It had all the amenities we needed- kitchen stocked with appliances and extras. The location can’t be beat- 10 min walk to downtown Vineyard Haven. We have stayed in many different properties and locations on MV over the years and this was one of the best. Would definitely return!

A comfortable, relaxing place to stay

We had a great trip to Vineyard Haven! The house had everything we could need. It was comfortable and clean—a cool retreat after a hot beach day. It’s close enough to walk to town but tucked away from the chaos. It’s an easy jumping off point to explore many places in the island. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower, a relaxing way to end the day!

The perfect house!

Everything about this house was absolutely perfect for our stay in MV! We traveled with our 2 young kids and their grandma so the private bedroom and bathroom for grandma could not have been better! The house was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The kids loved playing on the back patio! We walked to town and to the little beach perfect for kids every day! Easy drive to explore the rest of the island. Karen was also great and so communicative! Highly recommend!
