'Blue Dolphin' Beach Cottage - With Private Pool

Old style Florida beach home...warm and cozy....In the Laguna Beach/Sunnyside Beach area. 2 spacious bedrooms with upgraded Queen size mattresses. 2 full bathrooms with showers. Nicely furnished throughout and a recently completed remodel of our kitchen. It's ready for your comfortable and relaxing vacation stay. Enjoy and relax around your own private pool and pool area. It's a great way to take a break from the beach. For those cooler evenings, our pool is heated. Our cottage is just 1 block off Front Beach Road which allows for just a 4 minute walk to the beach.... Grocery stores are just 1 mile away. Pier Park is only about 5 minutes away. Close enough to the action....far enough away to enjoy evenings in a very quiet (golfcart friendly) neighborhood setting. Fantastic evening strolls on the beach at sunset.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
After taking trash to bin outside, roll bin to the edge of the driveway with the front of the bin facing the street.... don't forget to empty trash can out by the pool.
All towels, hand towels and wash cloths including dish towels can be placed into the laundry basket.
Sweep up any visible excess sand inside the house.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We travel to Florida for at least a week every summer and this has been our best stay yet. The property was even better than we expected! It is very nice and well taken care of. The pool is very nice and maintained well. The home is clean, fully stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. The owner is really responsive and answers any questions that you have right away. We would definitely recommend the Blue Dolphin and will be booking again next summer!

Highly recommended. House was very clean, Very quiet neighborhood and a short 3 min walk to the beach. The beach in this area was not crowded. The pool was awesome. We really liked being able to unload groceries right at the kitchen door. Sunnyside grill is just a short walk away- great for breakfast and lunch. It was about a 15 minute drive to pier park, and on this end of Panama City Beach- the traffic is much lighter. We would definitely stay here again.

Great area!

Gary was very informative and in communication often. He told us that Sunnyside grill was great for breakfast, and it was! Clean house, quiet area, and only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Brought our jet skis, took out on Lake Powell, very nice, no other boat traffic while we were there. Unfortunately, the outfall was too shallow to take the skis to the gulf, but a beautiful lake.

Exceeded Our Expectations!

We stayed at Gary and Debra's 'Blue Dolphin' beach cottage in June of 2016 and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. It was perfect! The house was very well maintained, updated, clean and just as described. Frankly, the pictures don't do it justice! The kitchen was equipped with everything we could have needed and the bedrooms were equal in size with extremely soft foam mattresses. Each room had it's own TV and cable box, which was a nice surprise too. The A/C worked great and had been recently serviced and the grounds were well maintained. The house sits in a quiet, friendly neighborhood about a block away from beach access. There is convenient access to nearby stores and restaurants, while still maintaining the peace of being on the west end of town. Above everything about the house itself, I want to comment on Gary and Debra as owners. From our very first contact, Gary was extremely responsive in answering questions before we even booked. This detailed communication continued with help throughout the booking process and with valuable information about our stay once we were confirmed. He was also readily available to contact throughout our stay (though we never needed him). This communication put us at ease about our vacation and Gary and Debra's attention to detail was made abundantly clear once we arrived and saw how great the house was. If you're reading this trying to decide where to stay, look no further. Our only regret was that we didn't get there sooner and stay longer! We hope to be regulars at the 'Blue Dolphin'. Thanks Gary & Debra!

Perfect Property!

This beautiful little cottage is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of down town Panama City Beach. The beaches are just around the corner! The house more than accommodated all our guests! Gary and Debra went above and beyond with all their recommendations for dining and sight seeing! Not to mention the comfort level of the cottage! Very pleased with this property. We have a large family of five & everyone was very comfortable. From the beds that mold to your body, the pillows & modern decor. Not to mention how convenient the outdoor shower, dish washer, along with the washer & dryer. Being a busy Mother to three, I was very greatful!!! Everything as listed & much more than I expected!! Gary & Deborah have went the extra mile to not only make this property feel like home, they have also provided a wagon for the short stroll to the beach along with boogy boards, items for the kids to play in the sand & an umbrella. I have enjoyed this property & location so much, I am already planning on a second trip for my family in the fall.

A great family trip!

Excellent "old Florida" style beach cottage with modern updates! The Blue Dolphin was perfect for our family of five. The house is just a "short" block off front beach road and is just a short walk from 3 different beach access points. Grocery stores are less than 2 miles away. I loved being on the west end of the beaches...away from the crowds. The kitchen and the bathroom were nicely updated and beds were very comfortable. The owners are SUPER! My 2 year old granddaughter loved the beach and the ocean. I feel certain we will return😄

April stay for 10 days

Great value and perfect location for my family. Not very much congestion as you are about 10 miles west of PCB. We went into town several times during our stay but it is not necessary as there are several nice restaurants nearby. Grocery close liquor close beaches are literally one block away! Will be back here as for the cost we have not had a place in PCB that is any where near comparable. try Salty Sues
