Great location, below average apartment

Pros: location fantastic; near underground; good restaurants and grocery nearby; heated floors in unit; responded timely to issues. Cons: basement unit-steep and narrow steps to unit; entire unit was dirty, floors especially dirty and dusty; holes in walls, some with added graffiti to them; to discover wifi password required laying on the dirty floor; clothes washer hooked up improperly which we were told by the repairman who WE were expected to wait for during the day because the machine failed and my clothes were locked in for several hours and no manual on the premises, we had to find it on our own via the internet on our phones (we are on vacation folks-this isn't our home). Repairman told my husband a significant hot water pressure issue exists, it is much to low for entire apartment. Clothes washer may be hooked to hot water only which explains why several of my undergarments shrunk though I used the coldest water temp; slow draining tub required my husband to use plunger to the drain; bathroom sink also slow draining; tub fixtures broken; front bedroom next to buildings trash bin room; dishwasher had moldy smell; constant sound of dripping water in rear bedroom. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone in its current state. The cleaning staff is substandard and it's obvious to me owner may not be monitoring condition of this rental.

This is a good flat for a reasonably priced lodging option in central London.

The flat was as described onVBRO. The location is conveniently located within a reasonable walk of a couple of Tube stops. Alex was very accomodating as a landlord.

Comfortable, well appointed, brilliant location

The apartment is well appointed with everything we needed. It is located in a great area, only a short stroll from the Gloucester Rd tube station which provided easy access to all over London. Thanks Alex for an enjoyable, comfortable stay.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay in London. Very clean and modern. Excellent TV with all the channels. Close to the tube in a very upscale part of town.

Perfect location. Flat was very clean and modern

Alex could not have been a better host. Extremely responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommended. If you are taking the underground and have luggage. I would recommend taking the Piccadilly line to the Earls Court station. This station is easier to navigate as it has lifts(elevators) and ramps so you are not left carrying bags up and down stairs. It was the best option for us as we had 5 people with a number of bags.

Beautiful location! Quaint row houses and parks, near to restuarants and tube.

Excellent location, close to tube stations, museums, and parks. Nice beds and linens. Flat information easy to follow and adapters and hair dryers were helpful. Flat needs a nice coat of paint as walls in kitchen, bedrooms and living room were showing signs of a lot of usage. Also no light in lower hall made it difficult to lock and unlock door. Internet information would be helpful to have in information booklet as it was somewhat difficult to acess. A few more supplies in the unit (a roll of paper towel) would make the flat more welcoming, perhaps some literature on London. Over all a delightful stay, thank you.

Nice Flat

The layout of the flat was exactly as described. It was spacious and clean. Communication with Alex was easy. The location of the flat was exactly where we needed to be and it was easy to travel to the attractions that we wanted to see. I gave it four stars because initially there was no cutlery, iron, or blowdryer. When I told Alex, he had the items delivered. We experienced issues with the washing machine, but I am sure that Alex would have had that fixed after our departure. Lastly, the cleaning people arrived 15 minutes before our departure time. I would recommend this flat to other travelers because Alex was responsive and despite the hiccups, we enjoyed our stay in the flat.
