Sunshine Daydream. Come and enjoy the beautiful, warm and cozy comforts, in this 1600 square ft 3 Bedroom plus loft, 2 bath family and pet friendly luxury mountain home with a Jacuzzi hot tub and fenced in area for dogs. This home sleeps 8, allows up to two dogs (for an additional $25 per dog, per night) and has been furnished, decorated and mountained up from top to bottom to complement the rustic feeling of the knotty pine throughout the home. From the three flat screen smart tv's to plentiful cookware, dishware, linens, towels, furniture, wood burning stove, wifi, spectrum tv and more. This updated home has everything that you would expect in a sweet mountain vacation rental. The master bedroom has a king bed, master bath, balcony and 46' flat screen smart tv. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and mountain furnishings, bedroom 3 has a queen bed plus 40' flat screen smart tv and mountain lake decor, the loft has a full bed and desk plus a sitting space for music, games, reading and more. The living room has a 55' flat screen smart tv, cozy furniture, mountain themed decorations and a wood burning stove. We provide Spectrum TV and WiFi throughout the house, supply wood for the stove and have many cooking basics on hand, such as spices, oils, flour, etc. On the exterior there is a wrap around deck, the aforementioned Jacuzzi hot tub and fenced in yard for dogs, beautiful mature trees and parking space that can easily accommodate four vehicles. We are convienient to everything the North Shore has to offer. We are less than a mile from the lake and restaurants, shops, beach, boat launch, and a 24/7 Safeway Grocery Store. We are less than three miles from the North Shore Casinos and snow mobile trails and tours. We are five miles from Northstar Ski Resort and eighteen miles from Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley USA ski resorts. As a bonus the T.A.R.T. or Tahoe Area Regional Transit Shuttle picks up across the street from our property and takes you to most if not all of the places mentioned above. We are conveniently close to Hwy 267, making for easy arrivals and departures from the mountain even when there is weather. Book now and beat the crowds before the secret gets out on this nicely appointed, luxury mountain vacation rental home. When we vacation we take notice of what makes a rental superior and include it in our own rental. We have decorated our home for cush and comfort, as if it were our own home, because it often is. We are committed to continue to maintain and improve our homes level of luxury, comfort and convenience. It is our goal to keep a small clientele of cool, repeat renters who will enjoy, care for and respect what Sunshine Daydream has to offer, as much as we do. Kings Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cabin. It was located perfectly right in the middle of anything you want to do. Kings Beach is only a mile down the road and Incline Village is about 4 miles down the road. Some amazing hiking trails and wonderful restaurants. The house was just as described and the owner was wonderful about communicating and giving us tips on restaurants and things to do. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Enjoyable vacation rental

We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time. There was plenty of room for our group of 8 to be comfortable and not on top of each other the whole time. I think it’s great how dog friendly they are, and it makes your stay enjoyable while vacationing with your dogs. Our family would def go back again.

A Snowy Retreat in Kings Beach

Such a great experience

We ended up having 6 teens and 2 adults. There was plenty of room to hang out and to sleep, huge couch and carpet. The wood stove was the easiest to light (or just really good wood), hot tub was hot, kitchen was awesome. The teens rode at Northstar and it was very close. Couldn’t have been better! Thank you!

We really liked the house and Warren was quite a great host. He communicated well with all the instructions before our trip and helped us resolve the TV issue while we were there. House is a bit smaller than it seems in the pictures. Great location and well equipped. The only minus is the living room furniture and bedroom mattresses could definitely use an upgrade.

Nothing luxurious about this place.

The communication with the owner was very difficult and we didn’t only have to pay a super high deposit $ but also had to buy an insurance. We asked repeatedly to get the deposit back which was held for 6 months. Without success. The compulsory phone for checking in with the owner took over an hour and honestly it turned out that the house is not luxury at all. It’s right next to the busy road, noisy , small, polyester bed sheets, the snow was never removed , dirty hot tub and the access to the house was very slippery. Would not recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at this cozy home during our annual "friends of 20 years" summer trip. Kitchen is fully stocked with any kind of cookware you need, great porch with table for meals outside, 5 min drive to multiple beach sites, and super dog friendly (they provide dog beds and water/food bowls!). We had a group of 6 adults and it fit us all comfortably. Loved the shower in the master bathroom, has a skylight so you can see trees while bathing :) Warren gave us some helpful details ahead of time and was very communicative with all the dynamics of booking. If you're planning a family or friend trip to Tahoe this place is great!

Amazing Mountain Retreat

We had an excellent time at Sunshine Daydream! The house itself was perfect. Plenty of space for our group of 6 and the dogs loved running around the fenced yard. It was incredibly well equipped and had everything we needed to cook and serve meals. We we took advantage of all the amenities, including the grill and the hot tub! The location was great too, only a few minutes drive from the lake, grocery store and restaurants. Big thanks to Warren for the restaurant recommendations, Whitecap Pizza and Lanza's Italian were both delicious and definitely worth a visit. This is an amazing property and we look forward to coming back!

Comfortable cabin close to Kings Beach

Our family spent 3 nights at the cabin. It was clean and well equipped. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. The outside deck was large and the hot tub in the fenced yard was new and worked great. Only issue was the noise from the highway, which is very close to the cabin. There were also a few minor issues with disposer and screen door.

Like most people, when its vacation time, we like to have fun. Also like most people, the rest of the time we work hard and look forward to and plan for our next vacation and next set of goals. Sue and I currently live in the bay area near Berkeley. Although we met in Cali, we both grew up in the midwest and graduated respectively from Xavier and the University of Wisconsin. For the past seventeen years Sue has been a project manager for high end construction companies. Warren has had a twenty plus year career as a mobile dj company owner and for the last several years we have established a second career in real estate.

Why they chose this property

Because we Love Lake Tahoe!!! We believe it's honestly one of the most beautiful places on earth. Warren has been coming up here on ski trips for the past thirty years. Together we have been coming to Tahoe for the past fifteen years, in fact we got engaged on a trip to Tahoe. About 10 years ago we made it a goal to purchase a Tahoe home. In October 2014 our hard work and effort paid off and our Lake Tahoe dream has come true.






















What makes this property unique

During the search for our new home, we literally looked at over fifty properties to find the right one. We saw home after home that was either too small or too large for our needs. we saw many more that were either too expensive, too outdatedarchitecturally uninteresting, did not pass the warm and cozy test or just needed too much work. At the risk of sounding like Goldi Locks, this house is just right for us. Access to the property and ability to depart the property when you have weather was also big consideration. Because it does suck when you have to leave, you just got three feet of snow and have no hope of the plows getting to your street any time soon. We don't have that problem, which is awesome. Also the physical access to the home is fantastic, as the street, driveway and entry are all level. Having only one step to negotiate from the driveway to the front door is a big plus when our parents or other older guests come to visit. The other biggest consideration was location relative to the places we like go and the things we like to do. Kingswood estates is very central to the entire north shore, almost everything you'll want to do on the north shore you can get to in about twenty minutes or less from our home. There really is so much that we love about our place. We love that our home has a classic mountain architecture and design. We love the high ceilings in the living room, the knotty pine and wood beams throughout the house. We love the wrap around deck, the natural sealed wood the home is built with, we love all of our new furnishings and décor, we love having a fenced in yard to keep our dogs safe ..... and we love our new hot tub. We love our time at our new home and we hope that you will love it too!!!
