Our tastefully decorated and cozy Cottage offers everything you need for a romantic get-away and a relaxing stay in sunny Clearwater Beach. The Cottage is part of our vacation property '32 Steps to the Beach' which consists of a 3 bedroom house and a separate 1 bedroom cottage. The Cottage is located in a quiet and idyllic residential neighbourhood of Clearwater North Beach. The beautiful, award-winning and pristine Gulf Beach is just steps away from the house. If you prefer to have a calm beach day away from the crowds this is where you want to stay. Clearwater Beach with its vibrant public beach life and diverse restaurants is just a mile away.

The Cottage offers a spacious, elegant room with a queen bed, a sitting area with a sofa sleeper and a remodeled bathroom. The new kitchenette gives you the opportunity to prepare meals and enjoy them in the small dining area or outside on the secluded patio. Savour a cup of coffee in the morning, a glass of wine after a relaxing day on the beach or enjoy a BBQ in the backyard.

Clearwater North Beach is an upscale, safe residential neighborhood that welcomes families and couples. It is not suitable for 'spring breakers' or any group that wants an environment that allows loud parties.

The area of Clearwater offers an astonishing diversity of leisure activities. If you enjoy sports you might want to try out the numerous jogging, skating, biking, golfing, hiking, swimming, surfing, tennis or fitness opportunities. In Florida's state parks and on the breathtaking beaches you will experience the beauty and serenity of nature. Several theme parks guarantee fun for the whole family and the diversity of the many restaurants in the area will surprise you. From casual to upscale dining, from local and national to international cuisine - you will find it all!

Pinellas County is open for short term vacation rentals with guidelines that we are following in full.

We take the safety of our guest and cleaning staff extremely seriously. Our cleaning crews are using sanitizer and disinfectant on all surfaces before your arrival and as cleaning is taking longer than previously it is unlikely that we can offer early check-ins or late checkouts. Our houses have well equipped kitchens and we believe that separate units are the best option for vacationing in the time of Covid-19.

Florida is seeing an increase in cases at the moment and we stress the importance of guests taking travel insurance that would cover them in the event that they no longer want to travel to Florida. In the event that the administration halts vacation rentals we would of course refund guests as we could no longer accept them. We have to stress that after two months of cancellations and re-bookings we will not be able to offer refunds if Clearwater Beach remains open for vacation rentals but guests decide not to travel.

The Cottage was the perfect little spot for two! Our stay had everything we needed like chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The hosts were very attentive and care about the experience of theirs guests. Steps from the beach and close to plenty of restaurants and shops!

Perfect little cottage for 2

So close to the beach that i didn't even bother with flip flops when heading there. The kitchen has everything that you need to make your own meals. We never bother to rent a car when we go to Clearwater a the walking and trolley are excellent there. The trolley runs by 50 yards from the cottage.

Great cottage in Clearwater!

The cottage was great. Loved that it was right across the street from the beach. Close to downtown but not too close. Nice and private backyard! Would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic location!

The Cottage is definitely as advertised. The accommodations were cozy and just perfect for our party of two. Ryan and Amy were great hosts providing all kinds of information about the area, dining, and things to do. Bed was great, plenty of towels and all the things you need for the beach were provided. I think the best part was the location; we almost felt like we had the beach all to ourselves and if we wanted more entertainment it could be found just a mile down the road. Perfect beach trip!

Weekend destination wedding

The Cottage is in a very quiet end of Clearwater Beach although only a short distance to the main town it is a world away and is just across the street from your nearly private beach compared to downtown. Cottage is well appointed, very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need. Perfect for couples!

Wonderful cottage!

My husband and I rented the cottage for a week. It was perfect for us! Great location just steps to the beach in a quiet neighborhood, but we were still able to walk to restaurants and shops. We barely used the car at all once we got there. The place was well-equipped with everything we needed from cooking utensils to beach chairs. The owners were always very responsive. I highly recommend!

Second time here, and will be back again next year!

We love this place. We love walking in the quiet neighborhood as well as the beach. this cute little efficiency cottage has everything The two of us need for a two week stay. It was our second year and we will be back again. Next year. The kitchen is wonderfully furnished for us, and we cook most of our meals in the space, lots of great beach chairs and umbrellas and a lovely little patio to sit on . Ryan and Amy are extremely responsive and wonderful hosts!

our stay at the cottage

Place is very tiny, but efficient and clean.It was as promised, very close to beach. It is in a great location. All kinds of coolers, chairs, and other beach necessities are in the shed, and kitchen is well stocked. Liked sitting out in the patio, and used the grill a few times. Bed was comfy, and felt fresh. Would have liked a few more bath towels, and shampoo and conditioner samples (just to get started), but all in all it was nice, and I would rent again. Our host even left us a nice bottle of white wine, which I did enjoy. Great fantastic location!

Park the Car and Walk

32 Steps to the Beach was a clean and well equipped cottage that was centrally located in Clearwater Beach. We wanted a place where we could walk the beach and walk to restaurants on the beach and in town. This property had it all. We could even walk to a protected nature area at the north end of Clearwater Beach enjoying rare natural coastline and privacy on the beach. We parked the car upon arrival and for six days walked the beaches and into town. We were pleasantly surprised that this cottage was located in an area that still had old Florida architecture and atmosphere which is also rare these days. We enjoyed the private patio area for the cottage renters and used this space for reading and resting our tired feet. Although the drive through Clearwater Beach was difficult this community is a pedestrian's paradise. Instructions for reservations, house rules, entry, and departure were clear and worked flawlessly. The owner and the cleaners were helpful and very nice. We will be back!

Great Stay at The Cottage!

My husband and I have visited Florida (Atlantic beaches and the Keys) many times but have never been to Clearwater Beach. We finally got around to a trip there and The Cottage was perfect for us in every way. It is about a 30-minute drive from Tampa Airport, is literally steps from the beach, in a quiet residential neighborhood, and about a mile from restaurants and shops. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the patio and had drinks at night - no loud noise or parties - so relaxing. The interior of the cottage was 10/10 clean, very nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay including beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys for kids. If you have concerns about this being on the same property as the bigger house - don't. There was a young family in the bigger house when we arrived, and a new family arrived right before we left. We happened to cross paths and said cordial hellos but never heard or saw them again. The properties are close to each other, but the owners have done a great job of keeping them very separate, so you feel like you are in your own little piece of paradise. We want to return to Clearwater and The Cottage!

Perfect beach getaway

The Cottage was a perfect place to get away for vacation. The home was 32 steps to the beach and the surrounding area was nice and quiet. If you were in the mood for a crowded beach, that was just a short stroll up the sidewalk or beach. The cottage had everything we needed and was exactly as described in the listing. We had no issues and even caught the maintenance team checking the gas in the grill to ensure it was ready for the holiday cookouts expected for the 4th. We weren't staying for the 4th but felt sure the next family would appreciate the thought and attention to detail. The kitchen seemed to have everything we needed. The location was close to the beaches and restaurants so we didn't need any transportation other then our bikes and feet. Since we drove over from the east coast and had a car, we ventured out to the Dali Museum and the Morean Art Center (if you have never seen glass blowers in action, check out the Hot Shop). The one thing I wish we had known about before we arrived was the need to feed the parking meters if you drive around. Seems everywhere you go with the car, you need a quarter or two for parking. I'm sure if I had spent a little time online checking out the area attractions, I would have found warnings. We were mainly in town for the beaches and that didn't require any car ride or quarters. We really appreciated you sharing your home with us and we had a lovely time thanks to the perfect location.

Charming Cottage

We had the best, quiet and relaxing stay at this charming, cozy cottage. Everything was neat and clean and so well furnished. It is the perfect size, and opens up to a patio perfect for breakfast or an evening nightcap. The beach really is just steps from the property. We will definitely book again!

Great get-a-way

Cute, quaint, private and across from the beach! Stayed here before hurricane Helene hit and the owners have done an amazing job getting it back together! You’d never know anything ever happened! Looking forward to our next visit!
