This luxurious and unique penthouse is right in the heart of the city - on Placa Catalunya with captivating panoramic views over beautiful Barcelona from its 40 sqm (431 sft) private terrace. Spread out over 85 sqm (915 sft) of living space are amazing amenities which include hardwood flooring, a full gourmet kitchen, a dining room, two spacious double bedrooms, two full bathrooms (one en-suite).

The first bedroom has a king size bed (2 x 2 m) with deluxe mattress and extra pillows to ensure you have a good night rest. The other bedroom is set up as a twin bedroom with equal quality mattresses.



The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with top brand appliances. The windows are double-glazed to create a tranquil environment, while the hustle and bustle of the city center is just an elevator ride away.

Prime location: The apartment is located right in the center of the city - on Placa Cataluna. All the main sights of interest are within walking distance:

LATE CHECK-IN:

For check-ins from 8pm to 10pm: €40

For check-ins from 10pm to 11pm: €60



EARLY CHECK-IN: (before 3pm) Subject to availability and there is a €40 early check-in fee. Please note that in case the apartment is being cleaned, the early check-in fee still applies and you can ONLY leave your luggage in the apartment, take the keys and come back when the cleaning is done (around 3pm).



LATE CHECK-OUT: (after 11am) Subject to availability. If you would like to have a late checkout, you need to inform us, and we will let you know if it's possible.



PETS: Your pet is welcome to stay with you. Please inform us in advance and note that the following charges will apply at the time of check-in:

-A €150 security deposit, fully refundable as long as there are no damages in the apartment.

-A €50 pet fee for extra cleaning.

Our contact Carlos was fast, responsive and friendly. The apartment was a little run down. Bathrooms were not super clean. Bedding and pillows didn’t seem too clean. But the location and views were awesome.

Perfect location

The location is fantastic! The apartment was clean and when the showers were leaking the management sent someone over to fix it immediately. The only stressful moments were not having communication out the property management. I had to call them from Paris after not getting any return emails about how to check in. Once we made contact they were lovely and the process went very well. We would stay here again.

Pros: Great location! Beautiful rooftop view! Clean property! Cons: Two levels with twin bedroom on first floor and all other rooms up steep, narrow, varnished wood staircase. Would not be suitable for young families who would have children on lower level. Steep staircase would not be suitable for those with difficulties climbing stairs or strength to carry suitcases up stairway. Inability for early check-in to drop luggage. Necessity to pay the security deposit on-site, rather than in advance through VRBO.

Location, location, location

Yes, location is important, but at this level we expected more. We had no hot water for the first 5 hours after arriving . That after traveling almost 24 hours. We received 1...very thin towel each. We weren't shown how to use appliances and couldn't get the stove or microwave to work. Downstairs shower was sub-standard and leaky. And beds were cheap and poor mattresses. All that said, it is in a wonderful location and we turned lemons into lemonade.

Amazing Location & Views

The location of this property could not have been better. Central and short walks to many landmarks, shopping and restaurants. There is some building construction happening on a building next door so you'll get a 830am wake-up, but no other issues with that. View from the terrace is great. Property management were very easy to work with. We ordered a child's bed, and they made sure we also had a high-chair (which I forget to ask about).
