Perfect vacation home for spending time with family. We used it as a home base to reconnect with family and tour New England. The owner made himself available by text, which was very helpful, but we didn’t have to bother him, because we had everything we needed.

Words cannot begin to describe our wonderful experience staying at Chris’ beautiful location. Being a stones throw away from tons of delicious restaurants and the ocean itself, this location cannot be beat! Chris was extremely responsive and his hospitality could be felt through his attentiveness to small details that make a big impression on his guests. Will definitely be staying here again (and again)!

We rented this property for a week with family and friends. The house was extremely clean, had a great yard, and an awesome location. My only recommendation would be to add a larger second refrigerator.

Can’t say enough good things about the property. Great set up for a get away with family or friends. Beautiful location right near the water makes for great views from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. Owners made it very easy to check in and answered any text messages quickly. Big kitchen makes it ideal to have a nice dinner at the home. We will be looking to come down again next summer!

House was exactly as shown in pictures and very well stocked for a large extended family.
Narragansett is a beautiful location, perfect for that annual family get together.
We walked to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops. The newly opened Boon Street Market is awesome and just a 2 minute walk from the house.
The play ground across the road was ideal for the grand kids to spend some time while we organized food etc.

Appreciate your review. It was our pleasure to host you and your family this summer. Delighted you enjoyed your stay and looking forward to seeing you again in summer 2024.
Rose Court was the perfect home for my entire family to gather for my wedding. The setup in the house was perfect for us. My late teen neices and nephews all had their own room, my parents with mobility issues and my sister in law with limited mobility all had accommodations they were happy with. Chris and Beth were super accommodating and great communicators. I recommend this house for anyone with a large group.

This property is everything that we were looking for in our stay in Narragansett for our wedding! Our bridal party stayed with us over the long wedding weekend and we could not have been more pleased with our choice. Chris and Beth are so kind and responsive - I had misread a text from Chris and accidentally overlooked that we would need to bring our own sheets; Chris came over immediately and provided sheets for our whole house, he could not have been a better host. If you are looking for a large, clean and beautiful home, look no further!

Great location, house needs some work
Overall we had an amazing stay due to location and size of house. There were a few things that were disappointing that we encountered. The listing and day of check in stated there was a propane tank in the grill and another one that was full. We bought several items to grill and both tanks were empty so we had to go out and buy a new one. The floors were very dirty and our feet were black after the first day. Finally, toilets and sinks made an extremely loud noise when using them which was a disruption to people sleeping. In addition, the space on the first floor was not utilized and could have been if there was a tv for entertaining purposes. If a few of these things change, we would love to rent again.

Lindsie,
Thanks for your review and yes we would love to host you and your family in summer 2025.
I hope my response deals with the issues you raise without sounding like a defensive home owner.
As part of our welcome letter, we share our cell phone numbers. advised the we live locally and are available to resolve any issues that arise during your stay. Rose Court is an active lived in home and things happen in lived in homes. A speedy resolution is a critical part of our service to you as our guest. We cannot remedy situations we are not made aware of.
Propane. (3rd tank available)
We always keep a 3rd propane tank available in the maintenance room for such emergencies. A call/ text would have resolved this.
Toilet noise. (5 minute fix)
Yes, there was a whistle from one of the upstairs bathrooms faucets when it was turned on. Some grit had lodged in the aerator (can happen in any home at anytime, due to town working on water line etc)
A 5 minute fix had we been communicated with.
Dirty floors.
A clean home for you and your family to enjoy is our number 1 priority. We apologize 100%, this should never happen. We have discussed with our cleaning staff to ensure this does not happen again. We strive to ensure, our guests, feel Rose Court is their beach home from home and they can enjoy it worry free.
TV on first floor.
We don’t adversities Rose Court as having a TV on the first floor. We provide lots of games, playing cards, building blocks puzzles for children to interact. Some guests like our no TV option on the first floor. Having said that we will take your recommendation into account as we look at summer 2025.
Thank you again for your review and hope to see you again in 2025.
This was the perfect house for our large family summer vacation (15 of us)!
Chris and David were great property managers and were a phone call away (and street) if need be. The house was sunny, spacious and clean. The outdoor decks on floor 2 and floor 3 were absolutely awesome with ocean views and a great place to enjoy dinner. The location was prime and a short walk to many restaurants, shops and the best town beach ever! The kitchen was completely accommodating to whoever is cooking or grilling! There’s an extra fridge in the garage which was great and an abundance of beach necessities. Everything was within walking distance so park the car in the large driveway and throw away the keys! To be fair, the only interruption we had was one of the bathrooms’ s sink faucet and toilet on the 3rd floor made a weird noise (probably a pressure issue) when used as noted in one of the other reviews; I’m sure that will be addressed.
We spend a week or two every summer in Narragansett Pier and would definitely rent this house again.
Thanks Chris, thanks David!

Alberto,
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. We are delighted you and your family enjoyed your time here in beautiful Narragansett. It was our pleasure to host you and Rose Court was in perfect condition when you left.
The noise from one from one of the upstairs bathroom is resolved, It was caused some tiny pebbles stuck in the aerator restricting water flow, thanks again for bringing to our attention.
Hope to see you back in 2025.
My Family ( 4 families 8 adults and ten children) enjoy an annual cousin’s retreat at the end of the school year. We went with Rhode Island for the classic lobster rolls/seafood allure with coastal beach town setting. This house did not disappoint! The pics don’t reflect the comfort and space this property provides. It was clean and the owner provided many unlisted toiletries, toddler bed and high chair for the kids on the younger side! Chris was responsive via email leading up to the dates and text once we arrived on the property. He had beach toys for the kids, wagons for those of us that chose to walk to the beach (only 0.5 mile), and it’s a lovely walk - you are right at the sea wall and are flanked right and left by the CoastGuard restaurant and Monahan’s Clam shack. Right behind the house is the bike shop eatery as well. It is Quiet on the street. There are two balconies to have morning coffee or enjoy a glass a wine at the end of the night. It is so difficult to find properties that fit our family and this was it! Great location - we enjoyed Narragansett beach two days and were close enough to Newport (25 minute drive) to visit the Breakers Mansion! There are also trails nearby (5 minutes away driving) we all enjoyed Black Point trail. We are so impressed having found many a flaw with other locales that we may very well return in the years to come to enjoy the location, the food and the hospitality of Chris and Beth in their lovely home!
We gathered my large family to be together for my youngest's graduation from Bryant University. The accommodations were perfect - room to be together and also to spread out when necessary... hahaha. Places to walk/run, stunning deck views, a short walk to the beach, and a park for the littles right across the street. Host was helpful and super responsive. Would love to return some day! Just sorry to see our wknd end...

About the host
Hosted by Christopher Barry
After over 30 years working in corporate America, we decided to take on a new rewarding career. The idea of helping families make their vacations as enjoyable and memorable as possible appealed to both of us. Long time Narragansett residents, we are now able to spend more time enjoying our beautiful town, family and friends, and less time on business travel and inside offices.
Why they chose this property
We love the Pier and we believe you will too. To get the full Narragansett experience, try everything the Pier has to offer: the beach life,, fishing, kayaking, surfing and so much more! So park your car, put on your walking shoes and enjoy the beach, restaurants, shops and pubs all within easy walking distance.
