Otters pub is the place to be for a fun and relaxing vacation in the wonderful Outer Banks! A beautiful canalfront home with a large dock (4 ft. draft) - perfect for those with a boat or just a great place to hang out, catching fish and crabs from the dock or sipping a glass of wine while watching the sunset! We also provide three (3) kayaks for you to enjoy exploring the canals and Sound. The house is equipped with all the bed linens for your stay.

LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION:
Located in the Heart of the Outer Banks, a short drive to the beach access ramps, full of beautiful beaches, world class fishing, surfing, wreck diving, water sports and much more this is the perfect vacation spot with plenty of shopping, museums, art galleries and more!

The area is home to many head boats and private charter boats as well as the excellent surf fishing that Hatteras Island is famous for.

MAIN HOUSE:
The Living Room, accented with wonderful stained glass windows, has a comfortable queen sleeper sofa (new 2022) and loveseat (new 2022), to relax on after a hard day of fishing......perfect for watching a movie, from the great selection provided, on the Flat Panel Smart TV or just listening to music. The large Kitchen is outfitted with solid Cherry cabinets with Corian countertops, a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer (new 2022), an oven/stove (new 2022), built-in microwave and fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a spectacular meal! There is a laundry closet on the upper level with a full size washer (new 2023) and dryer (new 2022). The Master Bedroom has a King size bed (new 2022) along with a flat screen Smart television to watch before a good night's sleep. Another Bedroom is furnished with two Single Beds and also has a flat screen television. The full Bath, complete with a large vanity, has Heart Pine on the walls and a beautiful stained glass door. The Upper Deck, with it's fantastic views down the canal to the Pamlico Sound, has both a large table and several chairs for dining on the deck or enjoying your morning coffee.

MOTHER-IN-LAW SUITE:
A wonderful separate suite, perfect for couples vacationing together! The large Living Room is complete with comfortable furnishings, to include a great sleeping Futon, flat screen television, stereo and a complete Kitchenette. The Suite has a comfortable Queen size bed in the Bedroom area and a large full Bath. Off of the Living Room is a wonderful Screen Porch and wrap-around Deck with chairs and a picnic table overlooking the Canal.

OUTSIDE AMENITIES:
A large dock, complete with a fish cleaning table, is the perfect place to dock your boat. A charcoal BBQ is located outside of the screened in porch. Plenty of parking is available out front. ( Please be careful not to park on the grass to avoid damaging the septic system.). Enjoy a hot rinse in the enclosed outside shower to get the beach sand off the feet and out of those wetsuits! Three kayaks are provided for those adventurous souls that wish to explore the canals or the Pamlico Sound, just be careful and hang on tight to those paddles as it can get rough!

My wife, our dog and I really enjoyed our stay here. Nice quiet little neighbor hood great for walking and exercising our dog. The dock on the canal around back was a great spot to kick back in the evenings.

Otters Pub was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped. A great place for putting in kayaks, which we couldn’t due to the weather. The location was close to stores, restaurants and attractions. Very attractive and well maintained. Definitely recommend for a couple or small family.

The house is very clean and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We used and enjoyed the outside space quite a bit as well as the kayaks. The only negative was that none was of the bedrooms have closets and the rooms are very small. With 6 adults, we probably would not have been comfortable staying more than a few days. Overall, it was a great experience and we all really enjoyed our stay.

Annual Labor Day getaway

Great spot on the canal, quiet neighborhood that was perfect for walking the dog and playing with the kids. No traffic besides local residents that were super friendly. Proximity to our favorite spots on the island was great. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at Otter’s Pub

My husband and I had a terrific week in this home. We took nice long walks in the neighborhood with our dog. We sat on the porch and enjoyed the water. The home was well appointed with everything we needed. We even made use of the kayaks and wandered around the canals and the bay. This was the perfect spot for us to get away to enjoy the area.

We had a fun time at this home.It has everything you need for a great vacation.We loved the central location on Hatteras Island for the vacation.We never needed the downstairs bedroom or spare bedroom upstairs.The kitchen has all the utensils you would need .It was exceptionally cleaned as well.Definitely recommended for anyone wanting to stay on Hatteras Island.

Wonderful family beach house

We had an amazing weeklong experience at Otters Pub in the beautiful Brigands Bay neighborhood in Frisco. The OBX is one of our favorite vacation destinations and this location did not disappoint. We spent our warm sunny days kayaking in the Pamlico sound and walking the beautiful beaches. The sunsets on the sound are spectacular! The house was the perfect home away from home. We will definitely be back!

First time in Frisco

Although we have rented on Hatteras for many years, this was our first stay in this house and in this area. We enjoyed the peaceful streets for bike rides. We loved being right on the canal to watch the birds and fish. The house was very clean, and the kitchen contained everything we needed for the many meals we cooked. The house is a very nice size.
