We have enjoyed staying at Shore Boy for the past 4 years. Always clean and welcoming. Linda is always quick to respond for any questions! The view is stunning, from sunrise to sunset on the deck overlooking the sound. Everyone enjoys fishing from the dock. A few suggestions for those staying would be to bring extra TP, garbage bags and your own laundry detergent/dryer sheets. There are stores to also purchase but as a family of 6 we ran out quickly. The full kitchen allows for fun family meals and the house has access to cute local restaurants, bakeries and bait shops. Thanks for another year of making memories in OBX!

Owner's communication was excellent and house was homey and well loved, I felt like I was at my family cottage in Michigan, not the most updated but that's part of the charm. Overall we had everything we needed... the one downfall was the home was advertised as 2 queen bedrooms and one room with two twins... the queen beds were not queen beds, perhaps not even fulls? I even measured to make sure I wasn't losing it. This made sleep difficult and was relatively disappointing. Nevertheless, we throughly enjoyed our time, would recommend, would stay again... but would maybe arrange rooms a bit different.

Was a great little place to get away the dock was wonderful for fishing and just hanging out the only negative for this property was the mattress was not great, but we solve that with a quick purchase of an overlay there are no commercial stores in the area, the closest McDonald’s is 50 miles which truly made it a great getaway For a late summer vacation.

Wonderful Location

Rented it 30 years ago and was thrilled to see it available. Fantastic location, spotless facility and great views. Our host was so helpful on things to and great Seafood nearby. Highly recommended!!!

My happy place

This is our 2nd year staying and we absolutely love the house and the dock the neighbors are amazing. The house is perfect for our small family and everything is clean. We will be back again!

Nice View

I booked this for my parents. They loved this house and location. They said altho there were houses on both sides it felt secluded and quiet. They enjoyed the view from the deck, deer on the lawn, and fishing from the pier in the back yard. This is a place they would want to stay at again.

Shore Boy

We had a great time at the Shore Boy. The home was very clean and organized, bright, great views, great location - so quiet. The porches were incredible to begin and end the day on, and the view from the living room is marvelous. We so enjoyed our time and hope to come back next year! Thank you Linda!

Great family vacation

Another great week at this beautiful home this year. This is our second time staying here and we just love it. Great location and great area. You can’t beat the view while enjoying morning coffee on the deck. The dock is great for fishing and crabbing. Linda is a great host and has always been great to communicate with. She always keeps in touch and let you know of any issues or changes there maybe. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Such a wonderful location!

Such a wonderful house to stay in. We spent a great deal of time on the dock fishing, crabbing and catching shrimp. The neighbors were all very nice and everything felt very private. We spent every morning on the deck drinking coffee and watching the sun rise. I think this is what I will miss the most. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I cant wait to come back.

Location was great. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Home was well appointed for our needs. We were centrally located between Hatteras and Buxton,as we spent most days surfing and fishing. Also, the dock was quite popular for catching fish in the evening. We enjoyed the Shoreboy. Thanks

Great Property & Location

Beautiful Sunset from the dock of this great property right on the Sound! The house is perfect size for a couple not wanting a huge house, but certainly has plenty of room for a family. Clean and very well maintained and well stocked kitchen. Having a Frisco address, we were pleasantly surprised how close we were to Cape Hatteras, bait & tackle shops, local restaurants, coffee shops and Buxton Seafood. We really enjoyed our stay & will definitely return. Thanks Linda! :)
