Perfect privacy and a beautiful, panoramic view on the Coast of Winter Harbor, Maine.

Architecturally unique three-bedroom home with landscaped surroundings, extensive oceanfront, and an elegant garden room. Great views of Mount Desert Island and the Gulf of Maine. This home is close to everything yet off the beaten track, affording both privacy and convenience. View Cadillac Mountain and several coastal islands from your bedroom window. Sleep to the soothing harmonies of the tides and breathe in the cleansing ocean air. You will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The building is located at the end of a private drive and elevated to allow enhanced perspectives and sweeping views. Living room, kitchen, modern, elegant spa-bathroom with glassed-in shower, and three bedrooms that comfortably sleep up to four await you. The open concept living area is enhanced by natural light from a multitude of windows. The home is 100% solar powered. The separate garden house is an ideal setting for entertainment, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, or morning coffee and croissants.

This home accommodates 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. In some cases, an extra person can be accommodated for a fee. Please inquire.

Our rental is located in Winter Harbor. We are a 10 minute drive to the entrance of the 6 mile Schoodic Loop Road. This is the Schoodic Peninsula section of Acadia. Along the scenic drive is Frazer Point Park and picnic area. As you travel to the end of the loop you will find Schoodic Institute and Schoodic Point. You can also hike or bike Schoodic Head.

Please note:
* To reach the primary bedroom one ascends a spiral staircase.
* We are a one hour drive to Bar Harbor.
* Like many areas around remote and rural national parks, Internet service and cell phone reception at this location is unpredictable. If it is imperative that you have 24/7 internet and cell phone usage, we suggest you rent elsewhere.

Amazing view, very cozy! Make sure to follow the written instructions from the owner and not GPS directions. Lots to do and see in the surrounding area and such great food! The scenery is beautiful. Watching the sun set from the deck was a perfect ending to every evening.

Nature's perfect getaway

The property is beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. We saw so much wildlife like otters, seals, porpoises. It's a secluded spot but easy travel to things to do.

We loved the house, very comfortable, nicely decorated & unusual architecture. The location is spectacular! Right on the rocky shore of Frenchman Bay, 5 minutes out of the village of Winter Harbor (we highly recommend the Treehouse restaurant in WH), 10 minutes from Schoodic Point. Bar Harbor is a 45 minute ferry ride away across the bay.

This was our second time at Christine's house and I can't say enough good things about it. Beautiful house in a stunning location. Granite ledges and tide pools out front, all levels of hiking nearby, and sunsets and stars at night make for our family's perfect vacation. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing Family Vacation

We like to VRBO a couple of times a year, and rarely is a home more splendid than we hoped. We loved everything about this location and our vacation. Our girls loved playing on the rocks and my husband and I enjoyed the peace and tranquility. We had a wonderful family vacation and hope to return one day!!

The perfect retreat!

Couldn’t of asked for a better location. Winter Harbor is a nice little community, and this property was ideal. Close to great hiking trails, amazing scenery, yet is isolated enough to make you feel like you are part of the coast. Excellent management .. highly recommend!

My family and I had a great stay at the house. Everything was perfect but the views were the best. Our boys loved to climb along the rocks. All in all, we highly recommend staying at the Jordan Harbor House. Can’t wait to come back!
