The Nest ~ Quiet location close to shops, dining and Downtown Freeport.

The Nest is a newly renovated apartment with attention to detail showing exposed beams, vaulted ceiling, and hardwood throughout. This quiet rental has a full granite kitchen with peninsula, living area with sectional couch comfortable enough to sleep an additional guest, full bath with tub and a washer and dryer. The newly remodeled apartment located in downtown Freeport sleeps 4 comfortably. The bedroom has a queen bed and twin with trundle. The large sectional couch is perfect for relaxing and there are doors to separate the spaces. The Nest is perfect for a small family, romantic getaway, or shopping weekend with friends. There is a large HDTV w/cable in the living area as well as in the bedroom, as well as wifi, efficient heat and AC for your comfort. All linens are included. The kitchen has a peninsula with seating, refrigerator with freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, linens, pots, pans and dishware. Pack n Play with linens is available as well. Let us know if we can set that up for you! Nearby Bow Street Market has "Bow To Go" as well if you wish to have your groceries awaiting you at Bow Street Market. We live in town so please let us help make your stay enjoyable with local tips, directions, information on events, hiking and biking routes or area must see attractions.

What a wonderful spot, could walk to everywhere in Freeport. Hosts were also fantastic to work with, and provided some flexibility that really helped us out. Nothing but great things to say about The Nest!

The Nest was exactly as described - cozy, clean and walkable to everything in Freeport. Erica and Doug were very communicative and even had it ready early on check in day for us. We appreciated all of the local tips they gave us for things to do and see too. We look forward to going back to Maine and would stay at the Nest again. My husband, son and I all enjoyed our time here relaxing and unwinding after sightseeing all day.

This place was perfect for a couple. Really nice and quiet 1 bedroom apartment with all the amenities of home-away-from-home. We loved Freeport and it was very centrally located for all our Maine activities like visiting family in both Bangor and Camden, as well as day-tripping to Portland and points south. Downtown Freeport was an easy walk as well. Loved it and would come again.

As was last year perfect spot to visit Freeport. Walk to Downtown and avoid the traffic. My honey biked in a sponsored event and visited his beloved LL Bean. I antiqued and thrifted. Dinner at the Dolphin Marina and Tuscan Grill. Accommodations were great. I am sure we will b back.

Perfect Getaway

The Nest is a great place to stay and the location could not be better for some shopping in Freeport. The place is very clean and has everything you would need for a getaway. The hosts were very gracious and we will definitely be back.

Great little spot in Freeport

We had a great stay in Freeport at The Nest. The hosts were attentive and very pleasant to chat with during our checkin. Perfect location for shopping, dining and hiking in the Freeport area. The decor is lovely and the apartment exceptionally clean and tidy. We will definitely book again when visiting the area.

What a Great Find!

The Nest was everything we needed and more! It was cozy and in a quiet location. My family and I felt right at home. We were able to shop and eat at all our favorite places in Freeport. Everything was so close and within a 5-10 minute walk. We also loved the fact that Portland was only 15 minutes away. Erica and her husband were great hosts and checked in on us several times to make sure we were settled and enjoying our stay. We will definitely be booking The Next again when we plan a trip to Maine!

A wonderful break from reality.

The Nest was wonderful. It is within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and pubs. The Nest offers a back yard seculision feel with beautifuly place flowers and a shaded bench. We highly recommend staying here.

My family just adored this spot! We were in Freeport for two nights and found The Nest incredibly clean. It's newly renovated, has a comfortable queen bed and a perfect trundle bed as well. It is in an ideal location to walk right to town. Our kids are already begging to return again next summer for another stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying in this rental and it was exceptional. The rental is well outfitted with everything you need while away from home. It is also in a great location; you are a 3 minute walk from LL Bean with off-street parking.

There is so much to do and discover in our area from booking a deep sea fishing charter, road and mountain biking, hiking, skiing, to visiting lighthouses, beaches, shopping, museums, and site seeing from oceans to the mountains.

This upstairs apartment has been a labor of love for us. In addition to the close proximity to Portland, the ocean and the mountains you are just steps away from premium outlet shopping, restaurants and the home of LLBean! Recently renovated, care was taken to leave high ceilings and open historic beams. Efficient heat pumps in each room keep you cozy during summer and winter months with adjustable heat and air-conditioning at the touch of a remote.

What makes this property unique
