Gateway Grand 215 is a beautifully furnished, elegant condo located on the second floor. This unit offers the closest access to the parking garage. SIDE UNIT IN OCEANFRONT BUILDING.SIDE UNIT IN OCEANFRONT BUILDING. Deluxe oceanfront building on 48th street with a large indoor pool, outdoor pool, exercise room, large sundeck and more. This decorator furnished 3BR, 3BA condo will offer all the luxury for a fantastic vacation. Bed sizes include 2 queen, 2 single, and 1 queen sleep sofa. The sleep sofa features a remote air mattress for superior comfort. Owner supplies sheets and towels, and a start to soap and paper products. Washer and dryer in the condo for your convenience. Property owner also supplies WIFI. Owner supplies luggage cart, please return to unit when complete. (Keurig & Drip coffee maker).
The Gateway Grand charges an $151 non-refundable registration/parking fee due upon arrival, which the owner pays.
Non-smoking building except in designated areas. No pets, please The Gateway Grand requires a minimum stay of 7 days, units rent Saturday to Saturday.
Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

Wonderful experience!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this lovely condo. The property owners have done an excellent job of providing a relaxing and serene vacation experience. With easy access to the beach, pools and restaurants the location is ideal. The rental included access to beach equipment (chairs, umbrella and cart) which makes beach days a breeze!! We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great vacation!!

Wonderful

This was our second time staying at this property. Once again, it was perfect for our family's beach vacation. The condo's easy access to the beach and indoor/outdoor pool facilities provided endless hours of enjoyment for our three kids. The owners go out of their way to make sure everything you could need during your stay is provided for your enjoyment including beach chairs, umbrella and toys. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return for future visits!

A Great Place to Stay

We have stayed in many buildings in OCMD but this was our first time in this building. Our unit was clean and well-stocked with many items. The beds were comfortable and even the sofa bed had an adjustable air mattress! With some rainy days, we all appreciated the exercise room and indoor pool. The few days that we were able to get to the beach, we appreciated the owner’s storage locker and the convenience of the unit. We hope to return again!

Convenient, comfortable, and clean summarizes our week vacation at this condo. The parking garage is very accessible to the condo, which makes a big difference coming and going. The condo itself has everything you need, with a good view of the bay and also the ocean. The beach itself was a short walk directly outside the condo and not a problem even for our elderly mother. We would definitely consider renting this condo again. We had not been to Ocean City for many years and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the beach, the town, and the boardwalk.

Absolutely Fabulous!

My family and I were privileged to rent this condo for our vacation to Ocean City. The condo is equipped with everything you could possibly need and very well kept. The balcony views were fabulous as it offers a view of the sunrise (ocean) and sunset (bay). Another perk was we didn’t need to bring beach chairs or a umbrella this year since the owners offer the use of theirs as well as their storage unit, so no dragging them up and down the elevator with you either. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Newcomb for allowing my family to stay in your condo and all your helpful information along the way!

The week we spent in this condo unit was awesome. The place was immaculate and well maintained. The unit was exactly like the owners described it. Having access to the units beach chairs and umbrellas was perfect for us since we came all the way from Indiana and thus did not need to haul our own. This is a condo unlike any other in Ocean City. I highly recommend this condo unit to anyone who wants a first-class accommodation. Although we did not need the services of the Concierge, since we Ocean City regulars, its nice to have that service available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!!!!!

Our stay in Ocean City was spectacular. Our accommodations were more than we expected. The location of the condominium was very convenient to the elevators, and parking garage. The condominium is so bright and cheerful. The bedrooms were all a perfect size, and are situated so each room has its privacy. The master bedroom suite was very luxurious. The bathrooms are all clean and decorated beautifully. We loved the openness of the large kitchen, dining area, and family room. The condominium came equipped with everything we needed. The view was breathtaking from the balcony. We enjoyed the beach and pool everyday. The owner supplied everything we needed. Jocie was so easy to work with. We visited many Restaurants, but our favorite was Ristorante Antipasti for superb Italian dining.

Beautiful Condo!

This condo is a gem in OCMD! We've been going to OCMD for years and never stayed in a place like this. It is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need and more! It was so nice to not have to worry about bringing all of the extras (paper towels, garbage bags, etc.) The condo is located next to the walkway in the parking garage which was very convenient. The Gateway Grand is well maintained. The only complaint we had was there is not a ramp for strollers or beach carts to get down to the beach. We had to go out the front of the building and walk around to get to the beach. The concierge said there will be a ramp in the future so hopefully it's finished before we go back next year! Jocelyn was great to work with and really made us feel comfortable during our stay! Definite thumbs up! :)

Totally impressed with this gorgeous 3 BR condo

We have stayed at several nice places in OCMD but Jocelyn's lovely condo in the beautiful Gateway Grand has been our favorite place yet! From the planning stages right through our week there, everything was a joy! The owner was available for questions and was very thorough with instructions. The condo is beautifully decorated and provides way more than most condos. There were beach chairs and umbrellas for shade provided by owners. A huge laundry room. Three beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom and bath was my favorite. Sit on the bed and watch the sun rise over the ocean. The kitchen was fully stocked. Loved the balcony - comfy furniture and views of both the bay (with the stunning sunsets) and the ocean. Indoor pool and outdoor pool with direct access to the beach. The condo was spotless. In fact the entire building was kept so clean - and very secure!! The location is great. Plenty of great places even within walking distance. My entire family loved staying there and we all agreed we are coming back to stay in this condo again next year!! Couldn't ask for any place better!!

Pros / Cons

Pros: - Property was to date, spacious, and had everything you can ask for. - Convenience of having all towels and sheets provided was a huge bonus. - Place had a locker for beach stuff which was awesome. - very convenient going to and from the beach - pools open early and stay open late - view from the master bedroom was great - staying on the 2nd floor was really convenient to parking garage You need a fob to go in and out of every door and parking garage which is fine, as long as you are someone who doesn’t forget your belongings everywhere (husband struggled with this). Cons: - Front staff of the property were rude and not helpful. Since this property is “central scheduling” they couldn’t be bothered. - The location of where the beach locker was would have been fine if the lift to bring the beach stuff up and down wasn’t broken for the majority of the week and I had to carry it up and down a flight of stairs - the carpet was dated and dirty - we arrived with dishes still in the dishwasher and counter tops dusty - lots of outlets didn’t work - dryer didn’t work great, had to re-dry our clothes multiple times

Great location

We enjoyed having access to the beach during the day and walking to restaurants at night. The location is wonderful for families and our kids enjoyed having their own bedrooms/bathrooms.

Beach Feel! (just as you'd want it to be)

The Gateway Grand itself is a great place to stay, no matter which condo you choose. 215 is an excellent pick for a lot of reasons. Close to parking / ground floor so very little time wasted riding elevators. The balcony, while not right on the ocean, gave us a great view of both the sea and the bay. Well stocked with all the things you want / need when vacationing, including beach chairs and an umbrella. Close to restaurants (we walked to several) and beverages. We had a super week in Ocean City! Many thanks to the owners of 215 for the wonderful, beach-feel accomodations!

Beautiful place with everything you need for a fun vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation. We loved the place and loved having our own bathrooms. We all were able to get ready at the same time. No waiting around. It rained one day and we stayed in relaxed played games and enjoyed good food. The kitchen was well stocked. We even had a wine fridge! We loved the storage area for beach chairs and umbrellas all on the one floor. It was great not having to take them back to the room. Beautiful place, we woke up to beautiful sun rises and beautiful sunsets. Everyone was friendly and very helpful that worked there. We will be back! Thanks for sharing your beautiful Summer Condo.

The Gateway is certainly one of the nicest in Ocean City. I have been going to Ocean City for 65 years and have stayed at many resort locations and this one is exceptional. The unit is well appointed and very clean. It was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Our family rented 4 units this same week and this one was the best. We would definitely rent from this owner again, as they were very responsive before and during our stay. Thank you Jocie!

This resort is the jewel of Ocean City!

The room and resort were the nicest we have enjoyed in 20+ years of vacations in OC MD. Everything about the unit was clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen area was especially impressive. The location made the drives to the boardwalk and the restaurants we enjoy seem like nothing. The few very minor issues we experienced were handled promptly and very courteously by the staff and the owners. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a top notch vacation. We loved it! ***Sella's was a new find for us this year in restaurants and was excellent as well.

Wonderful Stay at the Gateway Grand

This was our second trip THIS summer alone to the Gateway Grand and we had a wonderful relaxing time with family. The condo is beautiful and the owners are awesome. In all - this is our 10th or so trip to Jocelyn's condo and each time we are amazed at how clean and new it looks. The location, building and amenities are amazing and perfect for a multi-generational family. OC MD and the Gateway Grand are perfect for families!
