Beautiful Condo, good for familes, free wifi, near Ghirardelli Square

Larkin Street is a beautiful, completely remodeled, 2 bedroom, 2 bath flat in a two unit Edwardian building on Larkin near Ghirardelli Square, Aquatic Park, Fort Mason and Marina. It was originally built in 1913, with many period details including crown molding, fireplaces and clawfoot bathtubs. It was recently renovated with remodeled bathrooms and kitchen, Brazilian walnut floors upstairs, and carpet in bedrooms. Master bath has marble counters, double sinks and heated floor. There is easily accessible public transportation (cable car, trolley, bus and taxi) to all parts of city from the house.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please strip the beds and put sheets in the blue bags that I have provided and put the used towels in the grey bags
Leave the keys on the kitchen counter
Before you leave, please write about your stay at 2949 Larkin in the book on the kitchen counter. Write about what you did while San Francisco and any recommendations that you have for future guests.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Confirm floor plan when booking for two couples - check floor plan - one bedroom is smaller than the other and one bathroom is on the main floor.
When using back stairs to roof deck, be respectful of neighbors.
Check in by 7 PM on day of arrival. Check out by 10AM on day of departure

My adult daughters and I loved staying at this condo. The location had a wonderful view from the deck. It was also just one block from Ghirardelli Square and the bay. The kitchen had everything we needed and beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location just steps from Ghirardelli Square, easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. Rooftop access for sunrise/sunset and Alcatraz views. Family-friendly with a kitchen, updated bathroom near the bedrooms, and lots of games and books to keep you entertained. Check-in and checkout were very easy and took no time. The host was great about responding to any questions quickly and was very accommodating. We would love to stay here again.

The property was easy to find and its perfectly located by the Pacific in the heart of the City. Loves the convenience and the amenities. There is a high level of comfort and safety in the unit. This home was in the BEST location! There was a roof-top deck with an amazing view of Alcatraz Island, where we spent a decent amount of time, when we were actually in the home. Most of our time was spent exploring everything San Francisco had to offer, and it was a wonderful girl's trip! We were across the street from Ghirardelli Square, and so many attractions were within walking distance! We hired a private driver to take us to Sonoma one day to visit a couple of wineries, and another day for a few hours to give us a tour of the city! We packed a lot into a 6 night stay, and all of us said we will visit again! Our host was very sweet, and had great communication!

What can I say, what a beautiful location, the townhouse was beautiful and so well cleaned and ready for us. Working with the owner was such a delightful experience. She was so easy to get a hold of and even waited for us to arrive. If you have a choice don’t hesitate to choose this location. So well worth the cost definitely staying here again.

What makes this property unique

When you stay here, you will be just a cable car ride away from Union Square in San Francisco and a bike ride away from the Golden Gate Bridge. On Friday night, walk to Fort Mason where they circle the Food Trucks. Take a trolley to the Ferry Building to visit an amazing farmer's market on Saturday morning. Catch a cab on the corner to the best restaurants in the world. You will be a 15 minute drive to Sausalito and an hour away from Muir Woods or the Napa and Sonoma wine country. From the roof deck you will be able to see ships sailing by Alcatraz and Angel Islands. You can even take a swim in the chilly waters of the Bay or just enjoy the sandy beach of Aquatic Park just a block away.
