In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 2, the maximum allowed occupancy is 6, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 2.

This Kiawah Island vacation rental is on the 2nd floor of a beachfront building and offers easy beach access. The villa offers a newly renovated kitchen and primary bathroom, three balconies and comfortable furnishings throughout. The living area features two sofas, a flat-screen TV, and balcony access. The fully equipped kitchen showcases white cabinetry, brand new stainless steel appliances, and bar seating for three. The dining table comfortably seats six and is a great place to enjoy meals with family and friends.

The primary suite offers a king bed, flat screen TV, balcony access, and a private bathroom with a new walk-in shower. A second bedroom features two queen beds, a flat-screen TV, balcony access, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

The villa is equipped with wireless internet. Community washers and dryers and an elevator are provided within the building.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards bike rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. Please note: Within the Shipwatch community, this credit is only valid for bike rentals.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

We absolutely loved staying at 2263 Shipwatch! The place was beautiful and the location was exactly what we were looking forward too. We especially appreciated that the beach was never crowded and we took full advantage of the quiet for some good relaxation time.

Very comfortable condo

This condo is spacious, especially the bedrooms. Balconies off each room, which were nice to sit on in the evenings. Very quiet. Master bedroom bed was super comfy. Loved the benefit of the boardwalk straight to the beach. Clean. Well stocked kitchen with every pot, pan, glass, utensil, appliance you may need. TYSM.

The condo has a very well equipped kitchen. That is super nice! The bedrooms are large, with very comfortable beds. The villas are in the perfect location. Easy walk to a beautiful beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for family holiday celebration

We rented this unit for a family gathering over the holidays as it was close to the unit our daughter and son in law own in the next building. They came and went throughout the visit with our 2 yr old granddaughter as did our other adult children who came in from Charleston. This unit was perfect thanks to its spacious layout, puzzles and games, and well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay!

Fun in Kiawah

Perfect location - right on the beach. It was the right size for our family of 4. Apartment was clean and well-stocked and recently renovated. The carpet in the master bedroom was a bit worn and could use an update. We will consider staying at this location again when we plan a trip to Kiawah.

We booked a day before we went due to great price. I never received a parking pass by email but the lady at the gate helped and got us one. Great location and convenient to beach! Only negative was no washer/ dryer in the unit and no pool access...but we felt it was priced accordingly.

Key box cover fell off. Got it replaced and came out to cover & key on floor. Dangerous!! .

View from porches was just to parking lot- that should be mentioned in info. Need trash can under sink area- had to open utility closet each time you had the least thing for trash can. Bath tub bottoms slick/ no nonslip Matt’s or tub bottomed and no grab bars. These are needed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were called at 4 pm (check-in time) that our room was not ready with no estimated time. We were very disappointed as we were arriving on the island. At 5:30, my husband went to the door and the hskpr said 30 more minutes ( with no mask). At 6pm, I called AkersEllis and notified them that the condo was dirty and I had taken 12 photos. She offered to have someone come out the next day. Well, I cleaned it at 6pm and emailed the pics to the rental company. I have received no response almost 6 days later.
