Lovely condo!

It's a nice condo with lots of space for a family of 4-6. There is an elevator right next to the condo front entrance, which was perfect. The view is great! It's quiet and peaceful, even though it is a condo community. It has everything you need to stay there but as far as going to the beach and pool, definitely need to bring your own stuff. Short walk to the beach, about 5 minutes total. The beach is very peaceful too, and even on July 4th, it was not crowded.

Location is wonderful - the complex is very well maintained, landscaping is lovely, great access to the beach and local restaurants. The condo itself is very nice. Loved the furnishings and decor. Plenty of room and very well appointed. There were some problems in the kitchen area. We observed roaches on a couple of occasions, the toaster appeared to have something melted in it and was inoperable, and the cooking utensils had food residue. Also, while the unit was clean, there were areas that appeared dingy and not well maintained - condo could use a paint refresh esp on the trim. The rugs had lots of stains. The furniture seemed clean and well kept. The mattresses were very very firm and somewhat uncomfortable.

I"d stay again

Overall we were very happy but two instances sort of fell short of expectations. The TV in the living room couldn't pick up anything and I couldn't even mirror my Iphone to it to watch netflix or Amazon prime, and an email to the manager produced no response, so we had to watch TV from the bedroom. Normally we don't watch much TV but the coldest cold snap in decades had us holed up most of the Christmas holiday. Also, the fire alarm started blaring for no apparent reason and I couldn't shut it up. A call to the after hours manager said they were either busy or it was after hours (???). I left a message asking for help but never got a reply (again). It turned out the alarm was outside for most of the building and it took almost an hour before someone turned it off. Otherwise, the Condo was very nice and well equipped.

Enjoyed stay but disappointed in the beach. Vacationed in St Simons for over 30 years and the beach was terrible to navigate this time. The wading pool before the ocean was full of junk and smelled awful. I know it has nothing to do with this property. Will not stay at the grand until its resolved..

Convenient, clean and wonderful view!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay in this condo. We found it very clean and inviting. The access to the beach and pool was wonderful! A bonus was that it was very easy to book, check-in and check-out! We'd love to stay here again!
