My husband and I loved this clean and beautiful cabin that felt like home as soon as we walked in the door. We appreciated the hospitality and kindness that Donna, the host, showed us; She made us feel very welcome, and she communicated with us a few times to make sure that all was going well and if we needed anything. My husband and I went to the Gold Rush Festival, Chestatee Wildlife Preserve & Zoo, and Cavender Creek Vineyards in Dahlonega along with some local shopping; You have a lot of different stores nearby like Burlington, Marshalls, Ross, and even Dawsonville Premium Outlet Stores.

Definitely a 5 star property and stay! Loved sitting on the porch with coffee listening to the birds. So very peaceful. Lots to do close by and great suggestions from our host for activities, restaurants and shopping. We will return!

This home is so much more than we hoped for. It is absolutely adorable, with all the comforts of home. Donna is the most amazing host we have ever had in all our years of using vacation rental homes. She reached out to us as soon as we booked. Her communication is quick and so helpful. She gave so many great recommendations and didn’t mind answering any questions or needs we had. She even asked a few of our favorite things and had a welcome gift with note waiting for us upon our arrival. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Donna for everything.

We traveled here for hiking and also visiting the Roswell/Alpharetta area. This home was perfect for our stay and was very comfortable. There are many things to do within a 30 minute drive of the cabin and once you come back to the home it is very peaceful and quiet. The property was cleaned very well and the decorations matched the season which was fun to see. The manager is easy to talk to and is very helpful if there are any questions or if there is an issue. I highly recommend visiting this home and will be returning.

Donna is a wonderful host! Hands down the best I’ve experienced with a VRBO. Her Lakeside Retreat is well furnished with everything that’ll make you feel at home or even disappointed to have to leave. For any fisherman and/or golfer, this is the place! There’s a very nice golf course and public boat ramp to one of the best spotted bass lakes in the SE approx 5 minutes away. I’m already looking forward to coming back next year. Thank again, Donna!
