Our stay was perfect. The picture window framed the gorgeous fall foliage! Even saw a few deer frolicking in the yard by the river. It was a peaceful and serene piece of property.
The setting can't be beat. The site and sound of the water is delightful, nothing better than coffee on the deck in the morning. We were comfortable in the house, found nearby walks and hikes and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come back.
We had a lovely time at this cozy, comfortable cabin! The kitchen was amazingly stocked, and we had beautiful views of the river through the giant windows, we felt like we were in a story book! We had a wonderful time!
We had a very cozy mid winter stay! The sound of the brook and view from the kitchen/living room was even better than pictured. Would definitely stay again.
We had a great time during our stay at the Mill Creek cabin! The views of the river couldn't be beat & we enjoyed spending time reading on the porch & watching the wildlife from the huge living room windows. We will definitely be back!

Magical oasis with all amenities
This home is perfect for recharging, exploring the Berkshires, and connecting—with loved ones and nature! A beautiful and peaceful oasis on the river with incredibly peaceful nights. The hosts are warm, responsive, and open hearted. We’re so grateful for all the time we’ve been able to spend in this space.
Serene and beautiful, inside and out. This is a very special home with all of the necessities for a comfortable stay amply provided. We so look forward to coming back.
Great view, very quiet and peaceful. The stairs are a little precarious. There is a bed on the main level. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend for young children or people with physical disabilities.
Cozy cabin, perfect for the two of us and our dog. Nestled in the woods with an active stream running by! We loved the quirky interior decor! Philippe was a great host and easy to work with.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mill River. Very tranquil area with wonderful walking trails near by. The river and dam on the property were more entertaining than television. The cabin was well stocked, especially the kitchen, and very comfortable for our week stay. We hope to return some day!
We absolutely loved this place! The house was perfect for our family of three. I will never forget the tranquility of sitting on the deck listening to the river and watching the fall leaves float down. We relived childhood memories having a campfire and wading in the river. The area was great with lots of nature and not too far from restaurants and shopping in Great Berrington .
Wow! It's a gorgeous, artsy (in the best way),very warm and inviting cabin in the woods. So much privacy AND a stream/river right outside your door. For nature lovers, those seeking privacy in a quaint, laid back section of the Berks.
Many short term rentals are sterile and have no character whatsoever. Not so here! This older house feels comfortable and lived in. Plus a wonderful view from the living room and porch down to the river.
We had a nice and relaxing stay.

Total Peace
Our Stay at this Cabin was serene and completely peaceful. We're part of the middle working class, trying to survive each and everyday in our world of kaos. Being able to enjoy nature and the surroundings that Philippe provides was much appreciated.. If you're looking for some Serenity, this is the place.. We will definitely try and return in the future. Thank you for your hospitality !!! Sincerely Mike and Pam
This was the 2nd time my husband and I stayed at Mill River. This time for our 20th anniversary and nothing could be better than a place surrounded by peace to connect with your life partner. There was a small hiccup when we arrived but it was swiftly handle by owner. We couldn’t have had a better get away. We will be back!
The Mill River Cabin is the perfect location for a vacation focused on relaxation and communing with nature! We recently enjoyed a beautiful fall week at this property. Highlights included time spent on the deck overlooking the Konkapot River, evening campfires, hiking the large number/variety of trails very nearby, Hancock Shaker Village and the Norman Rockwell Museum. This rustic cabin has everything you need to make for an enjoyable stay. It's a good idea to bring your food and other supplies with you as the nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away. Once you arrive you won't want to leave! The owner was very responsive to questions. We look forward to returning in the future.
The setting for this home is lovely. A riverside cabin with complete privacy. However the interior was not to my liking. It definitely is in need of some comfortable seating. The view from the living room is stunning but without somewhere comfortable to sit and enjoy it was wasted. Luckily for us the weather was warm so we spent most of our time outside on the deck but in the evening there was nowhere to sit inside comfortably. Also if you are a senior like us having the beds upstairs and the bathroom downstairs made those late night trips hazardous. In the future I will be sure to check the description carefully. On a positive note the host was very quick to respond to any inquiries and the check in was simple. Having a later checkout time also worked well for us.
Lovely house with everything you need for a peaceful and gorgeous stay in the Berkshires. Right on the river; kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Pet friendly, we found it easy to relax. Nice trails nearby. Host was very responsive. We would absolutely stay again. Only caveat, bedrooms are upstairs and stairs can be a challenge for children, the elderly, and older pets.
