Very clean and new inside. Bathroom was sparking, everything was very clean. Great downtown Brunswick location, wonderful town. Good communication with owner and simple check in.
We stayed here while settling our son into Bowdoin. It’s a very comfortable house, and you can’t beat the location. It’s within walking distance to almost everything. The house is exactly as listed and very clean.
Yes, the stairs are steep, but I think this is a characteristic of homes in the area.
My husband and I were in town to visit my daughter for Thanksgiving.
The property was perfect. It had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. It was clean, spacious and modern. It is a short walk to downtown and had plenty of room for our doggie! Spencer was responsive and was a wonderful host!
The location was perfect.Although it was comfortable, I would not recomment it for anyone with bad knees. The staircase is very steep and the steps shallow, and the bathroom and bedrooms are all on the upper level.

I am sorry that Margery has bad knees, we've include a picture of stairs in the listing, I wish she booked one of our single level apartments, that would be the best fit for her.
Overall- house was clean, updated and good location for Brunswick.
It is a minimalistic house. Comfortable for our short stay. (Could have used a mirror and small dresser in The bedrooms.)
And yes, (it’s been mentioned) but anyone staying should be aware that staircase is steep and narrow. It was fine for us, but it might just suprise people.
Overall good for what we needed for our stay.
Our time in Brunswick was great and this Vrbo was OUTSTANDING!! The rental was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and very quiet. Also, it was bright and spacious, comfortable and cosy. The sunlight coming through the sliding glass doors in the morning was warming and lovely. We found the bed to be very comfortable as well as the living room furniture. One of the best features for us was how close we were to Brunswick's vibrant downtown. A very easy walk to get just about anything we needed. Also, an easy walk to the train station, Bodoin Collage and our favorite coffee place. (Dog Bar Jims). We are already making plans for our return visit in the Spring. Thanks to our hosts for keeping up such a nice place to stay. Fondly, Susan and John K
Great location, loved the spacious yard with Grill!
Great location! A quick walk to Maine St and to the historical swing bridge and walking trail. Spacious living area! The sofa is super comfortable! Kitchen was very nice but could have had a couple more items like a larger cooking pot, a colander and pot holders! The entrance mat was a tripping hazard! It was curled up! A unique red refrigerator not very large but the handle kept falling off! The bedroom mattresses were very comfortable! A/C in the window was nice but they should have like a diverter, so the air doesn’t blow on your head! The door out to outside patio was stuck extremely hard to open. No railings to get down the stairs from the patio. Also no railings for the two steps from the kitchen down to living room. Overall we had a pleasant stay! Great for younger families.
Overall, this apartment is a good place to stay in Brunswick. It was the right size for 2 adults. It was cozy even in the dead of winter. It was clean, tidy, and had a fresh appearance. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom well-maintained and neat, with very good water pressure. It is a short 2-block walk to Maine Street shops or grocery store, and a 10 minute walk to campus. There are only 4 detractions we had, all MINOR, but which grew mildly irksome after two weeks - if you are only staying for a weekend or even a week, maybe they won't bother you. 1) The only bathroom is on the second floor up VERY steep stairs. If you, or guests, have any mobility issues, this is not the place for you. 2) The kitchen had the basics, but not much more. You can cook, but maybe better to just eat at one of the many good restaurants in easy walking distance. 3) The sofa looks comfy, but actually isn't all that good for more than an hour. No matter how we sat, we ended up with sore shoulders/necks after an evening on the sofa. 4) The walls separating this apartment from the other rental units in this large house are thin. You can hear the neighbors easily.Even with those issues, we still rate this apartment 5 stars.
This a great little apartment. It is very nicely decorated, feels very spacious, with the kitchen opening to the living area with doors that open onto a nice deck overlooking a beautiful backyard. The kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms are very comfortable. The whole apartment appears to have been recently renovated, and it is so nicely done. This will be our go-to space when we visit Brunswick.
This home is very cozy and welcoming. We felt right at home and had a great time in Brunswick. The coffee shop is just around the corner and all the attractions of Maine Street are just few blocks away. The staircase might be a bit steep for elderly people but all worked great for us. We would definately rent this property again.
Extremely clean, cute decor, comfortable, great location in Brunswick. Booking and checking in we easy and it had everything we needed
Thanks for a great stay!!
