Stunning location, really clean lodge

We had the best weekend at the lodge! The views are absolutely beautiful and the lodge itself very cozy and clean. Highly recommend!

Lovely Lodge Stay

We were always happy to return at night to this comfortable, homely and spacious lodge. Loved the light that greeted us in the morning from the skylights and large sliding glass doors leading to both the front and back porches. Very private and quiet surroundings led to a good night’s sleep each night.

What a great place to stay, very quiet and relaxed, The lodge itself is super tidy and clean, On suites for both bedrooms which is great, Kitchen area is super clean and has all the things you will need to cook etc . Added benefit of a kennel/garage area which was super useful for us, lots of power points etc . Parking is super spacious , Also the location was spot on for our stay. Will look to book again next year once dates are confirmed.Highly recommend the lodge for anyone looking to book it. Wont be disappointed.Contacting the host was super easy. (wasn't required as everything is well explained and laid out)Thanks again for a super stay

Best views , relaxation and sweet lodge

Lovely lodge with amazing views of the mountains , sheeps and nature . Good walks to south and north and excellent biking trails . Julie is an amazing host and made sure that everything we need is met. It was nice for the kids to have some time with the sheeps and dogs at the farm and will definitely visit again soon

Exceeded Expectations

Great place to make your base to explore the Scottish Borders and beyond. The lodge is spacious and has all the amenities you need. It is well presented to a very high standard.

Smiddyhill Lodge.

Accommodated our request for a short break. All information required was provided before and on arrival. The lodge was very clean, comfortable and well resourced with lovely scenery and outdoor environment. A lovely stay.

Beautiful Smiggyhill Lodge

Beautiful log cabin . The kitchen is equipped with an abundance of everything that is needed. Beds very comfortable. Some stunning scenery. Great walks not far from the lodge. Delicious coffees and scones at lovely little cafes in Peebles and Innerleithen. A great stay. Recommend it to family and friends.

Fabulous Lodge

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Smiddyhill Lodge. The lodge is in a fantastic setting where, if you are lucky, you can see deer in the back field in the evening - we were lucky to see one both nights! The Lodge has been done to a very high standard and there is plenty of space for a couple or a family of four. There are plenty of walks or bike trails near by and Glentress on your doorstep. Julie was a great host and I would definitely return to Smiddyhill.

Borderland and the lodge were perfect

Thank you for beeing your guest. The apparment is great, beautiful view, everything in and most beautiful furniture. We're at least a little bit sad, not so see Julie Hill and her dogs. But maybe we meet each other one time, when we come back to Scotland Borders.
