About James Marchant
Jim's a Brit, Ophélie is French and their two daughters are Franglais. We have been living in France for 12 years and whilst Ophélie works in Le Mans, Jim works from home, next door to the gîte, so will always be available if any help is ever required.
James Marchant purchased this Cottage in 2006
Why James Marchant chose Lhomme
We bought this property shortly after we bought our house next door. We realised straight away that it would make the perfect little gîte. We fell in love with the area straight away. The location is great for travelling back to the UK and it has a nice mix of rurality whilst not being too far from the big towns of Tours and Le Mans. It is a peaceful part of France but within easy driving distance of the more popular tourist areas of Normandy, Brittany and the Loire Valley. And that's not to say there aren't plenty of things to see and do locally! The gîte is situated in a very small hamlet and our neighbours are very friendly yet suitably discreet!
