3 bedroom apartment with large terrace providing breathtaking views over The Bay of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with stunning mountain scenery creating a dramatic backdrop to this much sought after development. Enjoy the sun all day from the terrace as it rises over the mountains and travels overhead to then set in front of the apartment overlooking the fjord. Fully air-conditioned and well equipped accommodation with private car parking space and access to the shared pool which is also situated to benefit from the views from this location some 300M above the waterfront. The apartment is just a short but relatively steep walk to the waters edge where there are a number of bars, cafes and restaurants as well as a supermarket and bakery within walking distance. The development is located a 5 min drive from the Medieval Town of Kotor with its churches, shops, bars, restaurants and marina which often has some spectacular luxury yachts in berth. If super yachts are your thing a trip to Porto Montenegro in Tivat some 20 mins drive away will not fail to impress with its marina and waterfront development including boutiques , bars, restaurants and the recently opened Puro beach. The property is managed by a local professional english speaking team who are on hand for any questions or issues that may arise during your stay.

Very enjoyable stay, kids enjoyed the pool , although some days it was very busy and not enough sun loungers . Amazing view from balcony/ terrace very nice for breakfast and drinks at subset.One drawback was the very steep hill , which I think felt even steeper because of a heatwave

Fabulous views from the terrace

The apartment is clean and comfortable with plenty of kitchen equipment and utensils. The communication from both the owner on booking and the management in the location were excellent. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance along with a fantastic bakery and a supermarket. Yes as mentioned, it's a short uphill walk from the bay. ..2 euros in a taxi which any of the restaurants will call for youA bit of local information would have been so useful on arrival in the apartment. Wifi was ok inside but very intermittent on our lovely terrace..a parasol would be useful there too.

Beautiful views

We really enjoyed our two weeks in Montenegro; we loved the apartment which was spacious, clean and well equipped. We loved the pool though we spent most of our time at the beach. The apartment complex was safe and it was lovely to meet other families also staying there. There was plenty of room for our family of five and particular highlights were eating on the terrace and watching the boats in the bay. Thank you!

Great place

Great apartment with incredible views of Kotor bay. Nice pool. Excellent communication and Daniel from Remote Control was super helpful and gave us lots recommendations. It’s a short walk to the water’s edge though a very long walk into Kotor old town esp. in the heat.

Lovely villa with fantastic views

Great villa with everything we needed. Beautiful views from the terrace and lovely shared pool. Owner very helpful in arranging baby cot and high chair for us. Loved Dobrota as a location (nicer than staying in Kotor I think!) but the apartment is up a very steep slope and some steps from the bay which was a bit tricky with pushchair (we were advised of this in advance though so no issues with the information given, I think we just underestimated how steep it would feel in the heat!)

Beautiful Place

Had a brilliant week at this place. The spacious terrace has the most amazing views across the sea to the mountains opposite and is a major plus. Eating breakfast out there each day or having a drink at in the evening was a pleasure. Similarly nice views from the shared pool. Internally spacious 3 bedroom nice high ceilings and communal living space. About 4-5km from Kotor old town via a nice walk down the hill and along the water (possibly a bit less by road). No TV but that was fine for us - decent WiFi though which pleased the teenagers and made planning activities easier. Loved Montenegro and the apartment made a great base from which to explore.

A wonderful stay in a fantastic apartment in a truly amazing country!

This was our familiy’s first visit to Montenegro and we can’t wait to come back. It is an absolutely stunning country, the combination of mountains, blue seas and sun were perfect. Nigel’s apartment was exactly as described and suited us perfectly. We are a family of 5 and the 3 bedrooms were exactly what we needed. The views from the apartment and the balcony are breathtaking and to be able to wake to them every day was fantastic. We had a couple of days when the water went off for an hour in the morning due to building works near by, but this was a minor problem and the agency were apologetic and kept us updated. The apartment is extremely well equipped and we could not fault it. We found it helpful to have a car but the apartment is on a local bus route. The pool was a great addition, even though the sea is just a 5 minute drive away, our boys loved being in the pool, which we often had to ourselves. We really hope to return to Nigel’s apartment as we all loved our holiday.

Overall good stay

The view from the balcony was beautiful and the sunsets were stunning over the water. Walking distance to beach and short car ride to supermarket. The internet was very slow and there was no TV which normally wouldn't bother us but it was Wimbledon final and UEFA. We were reluctant to stay so far out of town but it actually ended up working in a favour as we loved walking to the beach each morning and eating at local restaurants which were much better than the restaurants in Kotor town. The apartment has everything you need but the kitchen felt a bit grubby. The pool was nice although closing at 9pm was a bit annoying on the very hot evenings.

Nigel has been so helpful from the moment we booked and the management company Remote Control were very helpful when staying at the apartment.As you can see from the photo, the hill isn’t that steep at all.It’s totally worth the walk for the incredible views from the apartment. Montenegro is the most beautiful country I’ve ever visited.The supermarket is a short 1/2 mile walk down the road and there’s a bakery that sells pizzas close by. We brought an insulated shopping trolley and used it to pull along food back to the apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and the air conditioning works well throughout.There was plenty of room for our family of 5.There are a few restaurants along the seafront and many more in Kotor. The restaurants are quite pricey so it’s great that the apartment is kitted out with kitchen equipment. We used the toastie maker for lunchtime toasties.There isn’t a TV but it was actually quite nice not to have it and play some games together as a family. The Wi-Fi is fine, we bought an eSIM. The pool is wonderful and on some occasions we were the only people in it. Taxis are expensive if you don’t hire a car. 20 for less than a 10 minute drive to Kotor. The local bay was absolutely beautiful and you can hire sunbeds for the day. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

Once again a lovely property

We have been in this apartment before in 2020 and it was just as good now as it was then. Unfortunately i had a below the knee amputation in 2021 and am mainly in a wheelchair at present but broubht my prosthetic leg and walking sticks to manage the steps up to the apartment. We used red taxis when we went out which was most days or evenings.i was happy to sit on the balcony all day just to watch the ships and boats. In the 2 corners of the bacony were 2 swallows nests and the chicks were just hatched when we arrived and we watched each day as they were growing. I hope they flew away safely. Thank you Daniel for your help and remote conrol who manage the property. If you are a keen photographer the sunsets from this property are amazing. Thank you from Mary Joanne and Alistair

Top! Wir waren nur zu zweit unterwegs, die Wohnung bietet aber Platz für 6 Personen, also hatten wir viel Raum zur Verfügung, hat gepasst. Traumhafter Blick, schon morgens beim Frühstück, ruhige Anlage, perfekte Ankunft mit Führung durch Daniel. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus, zweckmäßige Ausstattung der Küche.Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die Kreuzfahrtschiffe.

Super appartement très bien place

Appartement vaste comprenant 3 belles chambres et deux grandes salles de bain, 1 grand salon cuisine et 1 belle terrasse. La piscine est très proche. L’appartement est très bien équipé (sèche cheveux, couteaux, four, bouilloire, etc). La vue est à couper le souffle et sans vis-à-vis. Proche de commerces (City Market, boulangerie, fruits et légumes). La plage en dessous est constituée de quais en béton comme ça se fait beaucoup ici. Et la cerise sur le gâteau : il est à 500 m d’un super restaurant le Babilon, les pieds dans l’eau.

Vue à couper le souffle

L appartement est très bien, spacieux, clair avec une grande terrasse et probablement une des plus belle vue de la baie de Kotor. La piscine est un plus agréable. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Daniel. Seul bémol, équipements de la cuisine un peu juste, une cafetière aurait été la bienvenue

Droomuitzicht

Ruim mool appartement met een zalig terras. Je zou alleen al voor het uitzicht willen terug gaan. Prima service, alle probleempjes werden snel opgelost door de sympathieke gastheer Nigel. De klim naar boven valt eigenlijk nog mee, en de parkeerplaats is boven (dus niet meer klimmen).

What a view.

After holidays being cancelled this year we managed to get back to wonderful Montenegro. The apartment manager Daniel met us and was very helpful and he was at the apartments each day maintaining the pool etc. The apartment itself is stunning and I could have sat on the balcony all day looking at the scenery. I'm afraid our 2 week stay went very quickly but have got unforgettable memories. The climb up to the apartment is very steep but the taxis are very cheap and obliging. Our 3 visits to the hotel conte in perast were wonderful as always. I would certainly stay here again and again. Thank you all involved and the owner Nigel. Mary and family

Wonderful apartment, wonderful location

The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped and well located. The highlight is the view from the balcony - simply stunning. Communication with Nigel beforehand was easy and efficient. The agent was helpful and pleasant. The apartment is well situated to be within walking distance of Kotor without the bustle of the town. There are a good number of restaurants on the seafront within walking distance. The apartment is a short (150m) but steep climb from the main road / sea front. Yes, it's a little strenuous but when you get back, grab a cold drink and admire that view! We hired a car and went up to the mountains to Zabliak, to the Adriatic coast, up the Kotor Serpentine and explored the bay of Kotor. All very enjoyable. Overall simply a wonderful holiday

Excellent apartment in a beautiful setting

We couldn’t be happier with the apartment - so spacious, clean and well equipped. Lovely location and yes the hill to the road is steep but taxis are so cheap, we hired a car as there is so much to explore in Montenegro. We were impressed with the helpful contact from Nigel and also from the property management - we wil definately be back

Fabulous!

The apartment was exactly as described, the location was fantastic, Daniel looked after every need. Very friendly! The place was immaculate! The walk to old Town was too far for us in 34 degrees, but cabs are 5 euro and every where, and so friendly as well. The view from the patio was beyond compare in sun, rain, day or night. Would I recommend this place, without hesitation.

Stunning view - good sized apartment

We (family of 4 adults) have just had 2 weeks at Nigel's apartment. We were met by Daniel from RemoteControl who explained how things worked in the apartment and was on hand to sort out a couple of minor problems - just text and he replies almost immediately. We were very grateful for the air con (temperatures were 30+ each day!) which is in each room and can be controlled independently. Apartment is spacious and had all the basics needed to cook. Pool was nice with fab view but not many sunbeds so couldn't always get one. It would have been nice if apartment had beds on balcony - it is certainly large enough. Some nice restaurants within walking distance of apartment plus a supermarket and bakery close by. The hill up to apartment is very steep but fairly short - still difficult if you have walking issues. The views from the balcony are stunning - a great place to have breakfast and just take in the amazing views. We flew in to Dubrovnik and the border crossing both ways was a nightmare - took us 2 hours (both arriving and leaving) to get through so with travel time 3 and half hours from Dubrovnik to apartment!! You need to take this into account. Montenegro is a beautiful country - amazing scenery, good food and lots to do. The location of the apartment is great for seeing and doing lots.

Spacious apartment with great views of the bay

Me and my family (4 adults and 2 children) had a very nice stay in the apartment. The view from the terrace was really nice and I liked that the terrace was so large. The apartment was clean and spacious and the pool was really nice, especially for our kids. The only downside was that there was a rather steep hill up to the accommodation, so car I recommended if you have trouble walking or if you travel with small kids.
