On the entire island of Key West there are fewer than 50 private homes on open water and only a few with their own private dock. Enjoy kayaking the crystal clear waters or relax in the private heated pool during the day, watch the sunset from the new dock and then enjoy the fine restaurants and Key West nightlife. Our renovated Gulf front, Key West home is nestled in a quiet, gated, private community in a secluded from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy the nightlife, fabulous restaurants, diving, fishing, parasailing and countless other activities which Key West offers and then, upon passing through the gate, return to your private retreat. Guest parking and a private, covered parking space is provided.
The home has a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel double sink, smooth top stove, new stainless french door refrigerator and new stainless dishwasher. Enjoy your coffee and breakfast on the back porch with breathtaking views of the crystal clear water. The large living area has gorgeous newly finished wood floors with two leather couches and big screen TV where you can relax, watch a movie or the game and still enjoy tropical views. The dining table is large enough to comfortably seat 6 for dinner if you choose to relax at home.
This wonderful home has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths spread out over 2 floors. The master bedroom and master bath are located on the second floor with its own private balcony overlooking the pool and spectacular open water. The master bedroom has a King size bed with new mattress, 2 closets and a flat screen TV. New wood look tile is throughout the upstairs with porcelain tile in the bathrooms. A second large bedroom is upstairs with a queen size bed, two closets and bathroom.
The downstairs bedroom has a full size bed and a half bathroom nearby. The utility closet downstairs has new full size washer and dryer.
Open the sliders and step out onto the new shaded deck and enjoy spectacular Gulf views, sunbathe with your favorite cocktail or take a dip in the private heated pool. Tropical landscaping, wireless internet, A/C, cable TV and a fully equipped kitchen will make you want to make this your home away from home. This hidden gem is an ideal private getaway from the noise but yet close enough to enjoy the night life. Kayak the crystal clear water, bring your boat or rent one from the nearby marinas or have your charter guide pick you up at the dock. Rent bikes, scooters or a golf cart and take a leisurely ride to Duval Street, Old Town, the renowned restaurants, lively bars, beaches, marinas, historic landmarks and shopping.

Tranquility

A beautiful hidden neighborhood with cozy cottage homes on the water. You can float the day away in the pool, fish off the dock and finish the day with a lovely sunset.

Perfect Stay

My wife and I were looking to “snowbird” for a month and this rental was perfect. The home was beautiful, the pool was wonderful, and waking up every morning overlooking the water and palm trees is exactly what we envisioned. Jack and Stacia were attentive and answered every question we had. The pleasant surprise was the neighborhood, everyone was as gracious as could be and always had a smile and a wave. Can’t wait to go back!

first time for a month in Key West

We were anxious for our stay in Key west. We had been traveling in a RV for the past 20 months. With the pictures on VRBO of the home, we could not wait to get there and jump into the pool. Well that did not happen! The pool was not up to a temperature we could get in it plus nit was green. It had not been cleaned maybe all winter and the host had to get a repair person out there. That took 6 days with no pool. The other misleading issue we had was the living room furniture. The photos show nice big comfortable leather type furniture. Not!! The 2 couches were awful, cheap and so uncomfortable. The legs were made of plastic and 1 was broken and I had to use heavy gauge cardboard just to keep it up to sit on. No recliners, No chairs, just 2 awful couches. We had to fix the vent in the primary bathroom as it was hanging out of the ceiling. One of the lounge chairs was broken too. The hosts did order 2 more lounge chairs for the pool which I unboxed (thats where the cardboard came from) and then cut up the cardboard boxes and put in the recycle bin. We asked the host on 2 occasions about a credit for not having the pool for 6 days but no reply and no credit. There was not a pizza cutter or kitchen tongs. There was a lot of mismatched utensils. The outside grill was all rusty too. When we did get into the pool, it was really nice. Just a shame we didn't get the whole month to enjoy it. The refrigerator was full of food and we had to empty it or move not for our food. There was not a screen on the downstairs slider so when the temperature was cool, we could not open the door and enjoy the cool ocean breeze. All the windows were not able to one opened. Safety issue??? One more negative wasn't the stains on the mattresses due to not having any mattress pads on the beds. I will say that the location of the home was very nice and the neighbors were nice too. It was such a downer when we could not get into the pool for the first week. Another thing to be aware of is the owner will notify you the day before you check in that you can not turn the AC down below 74 (although he did let us go to 72 after asking) and we could not turn the pool up past 82 although the pool repair / service person set it for 84 which was great. We would come back but to another home and we would check the reviews for accuracy of the listing and rules, etc. before opening the many thousands we did spend.
