Sparkling clean waterfront home tucked in amongst cedar and fir trees on a saltwater bay. Quiet neighborhood with a 180-degree water and island view. Five minutes from downtown La Conner. Thirty minutes from Anacortes/San Juan ferry.
NOTE; VRBO HAS JUST USED AI TO DEVELOP A BRIEF BLURB WHEN YOU SEE THIS SITE AND IT SAYS WE HAVE AN ONSITE KAYAK/CANOE. WE DO NOT. PLEASE CONTACT HOST IF THERE ARE CERTAIN AMENITIES YOU ASSUME FROM THEIR AI-GENERATED DESCRIPTION UNTIL THEY CORRECT THESE ERRORS. YOUR PATIENCE IS APPRECIATED. - JUDY
There is an outdoor burn ban from July 1 until who knows when. But you can still BBQ.
This 3-level home is perfect for up to six guests - all levels with their own queen bed and bathroom. There are two open living areas with two kitchens, plus a third bedroom/bath in the loft.
Both the main level and the downstairs levels have access to the outdoors. Due to the high bluff, we do not accommodate children under 12. If you use the steep stairs to the beach we are not responsible for any injuries. Sometimes it may be off limits.
There is parking for only two cars and limited street parking. Please only two cars.
We do not allow pets.
There are outdoor video cameras installed.
You will receive directions and key information from VRBO's "Welcome Guide" three days before check in.
EXTRA GUEST CHARGE: A 3-bedroom 2.5-bath waterfront home is generally over $440 or more per night for six people. But we often serve only two people. Therefore rates are less for two people and if more people are added we charge $30 more per person, per night including children over 12 through a platform VRBO has set up for this scenario.
Our neighbors are close, but with fences. We have never had any complaints about noisy neighbors. One guest complained about no blinds on the windows and the sunlight bothered them. (Not in bedrooms.) There is a separate living/kitchen area on the lower level that does have blinds. It's also much cooler in summer.
La Conner offers fine dining, pubs, cafe's, coffee shops, music, art galleries, tulips in April, the farm festival in the fall, and a boardwalk along the Swinomish Channel.
NOISE: Big Cedar is near the Whidby Island Naval Air Station. Occasionally they fly over La Conner. They do not fly on weekends. We want you to be informed as we never know when, or if, they will be flying. You cannot hear take-offs or landings - more of a dull roar in the distance.
Please note that our entire property is non-smoking. Neither is this property suitable for children under 12.
Have fun, be safe, and understand that any use of the property is at your own discretion and at your own risk.
