Villa in Vicopelago with 6 bedrooms sleeps 10
Montefiore is a comfortable farmhose with private pool located on top of the hill in the South side of Lucca countryside, the historic centre of Lucca is at only 7 km from the house. Montefiore has been totally restored a few years ago using traditional materials such as beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and maintaining an original pizza oven and barbecue outside the main entrance, thus keeping all the character of a typical Tuscan farmhouse. The result is a very comfortable country home furnished with all modern comforts, such as wi-fi, mosquito nets and air-conditioning in all bedrooms except a single one. A particular feature is the totally fenced swimming pool area, protected by a gate that can be closed for kids safety therefore ideal with families with childen and furthermore there is a comfortable gazebo with sofa and chairs. The pool is equipped with upstream swim.
Montefiore is an ideal location for clients looking to explore Tuscany region. The beautiful town of Lucca is at just 7 km away and the Versilia Coast is at 31 km away, Viareggio seaside resort.
Please note that the last few miles of the road leading to the property are quite curvy and pass through beautiful high antique stonewalls. Being the road quite narrow on some points, we recommend to those not familiar with this kind of country roads not to hire large vans.

Stefano was very helpful on arrival and in communication. Some road noise in the distance is the only (picky) comment. Otherwise a great property and accommodating even in the inclement weather we had.

I wanted to get back to you after our AMAZING trip to Italy and our time at Montefiore. It was absolutely magical…the trip of a lifetime. Montefiore was everything we hoped it would be…and more. Thank you for your help and your patience as we experienced so many delays in seeing our trip finally happen!
We found Stefano to be absolutely delightful and Luca prepared an amazing dinner for us at Montefiore. We had a full day hiking, swimming, boating and dining in Cinque Terre. We also spent a full day in Florence where we saw such a small amount of the city and it’s amazing sights, but loved every minute of it.
We were very satisfied with the wonderful assistance we received from you and Salogi Villas. We are very hopeful to return in the future and will tell our friends about you and your beautiful country.

We've just spent a fabulous two weeks at this beautiful villa. We were a family party of 8 adults, 2 children and an infant and there was plenty of room for us all in this spacious accommodation. It was very well equipped with everything you could wish for - from culinary utensils & crockery to bathroom accessories and towels. Stefano came to clean the pool twice a week, the bedrooms & bathrooms were cleaned once a week and our deposit was reimbursed without any problems. The only slight downside was it is a very narrow approach road just before you reach the villa, so a very large vehicle is definitely not advisable. The pizza oven was used very successfully, although it was very hot! The lovely clean pool is an absolute delight in the hot 'weather of August, our 7 year old grandson was quite happy to swim in it all day! Just a shame there wasn't a village nearby although its not far into Lucca itself. Would definitely recommend this villa - wish we were still there!

Schönes Anwesen in ruhiger Lage oberhalb von Lucca. Alles sauber und gut geführt und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nur die Anfahrt ist auf Grund der engen und kurvigen Straße etwas beschwerlich.
Wir können diese Anlage uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
