The beautifully restored farmhouse is located on the outskirts of the village of Casciana Alta in an enchanting setting offering sweeping views of the Pisan hills and the surrounding countryside. Surrounded by a private park planted with olive trees and an orchard, it offers guests a relaxing space featuring a 6 x 12 m' swimming pool and a sunny terrace, a children’s playground, a ping-pong table, a barbecue, and outdoor tables and chairs. It also features a private, fenced-in parking area (unattended). <br>The cottage is spread over two floors. On the ground floor is a large living room furnished in the Tuscan style, with a beautiful pool table and a fireplace, sofas and armchairs in the TV area, and tables to accommodate many guests. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with refrigerators, pots and pans, a four-burner gas stove, a microwave, and a dishwasher. The ground floor also includes a room with two bathrooms and a laundry room. On the ground floor, there are 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom featuring a shower, a television, and a hair dryer. The bedrooms consist of 3 standard double rooms, 1 quadruple room with one double bed and 2 single beds, and one quadruple room divided into two separate bedrooms, each with a double bed.<br><br>Casciana Alta is part of the municipality of Casciana Terme Lari, located 3 km from Casciana Terme and 4 km from Lari, and is part of the Pisan countryside.<br>The access road to the farmhouse runs along a paved secondary road, so it is well connected to the main cities of Tuscany. It is therefore an excellent starting point for visiting Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Siena, and more. The village of Casciana Alta offers a wine tasting cellar, an excellent pizzeria, and a bar. For everything else, we recommend taking a car to Casciana Terme, where there are supermarkets, or to Lari, which has a small pasta factory well worth visiting. The region’s main shopping areas are in Pontedera, but it’s also worth taking a day trip to the outlets in Florence or spending a day at the beach, just a 40-minute drive away.
