This place is in great location, close proximity to town and many things to do. The location is remote enough to have privacy. It set close to a creek, so you have a nice white noise of running river in the background. The place is clean and well equipped for stay. It is a typical cabin, with all the necessary amenities and plenty of space for family and friends to stay. The bedrooms are generous in size and comfortable.
Beautiful property in a beautiful area. The only drawback to our stay was the toilet in the first floor bathroom was extremely slow and needed to be plunged if used.
The house had lots of space for the whole family and was conveniently located near town and skiing at Stratton. Gas fireplace in living room was nice touch for a place to hang out with games and tv. I'd stay again.

Beautiful Comfortable House
We loved our stay. The house was well cared for and very comfortable. It was close to Manchester Center and not too far from Stratton mountain. We would happily go back.
The house was perfect for our family ski weekend. The layout is conducive to a big group and the bunk room was great for the cousins! Easy 10min ride to Bromley. Host was responsive and helpful!
We had a great time at this Manchester home. It was clean and comfortable, with loads of things for us all to do. Really feels like vacation! George was super responsive and answered our questions speedily throughout our stay. We loved the brook and made good use of it! Great place to stay, summer or winter!

Great stay in a Great house
I recently spent a week in this beautiful house. I cant say enough good things about it. It is absolutely clean and stocked with all that you need. Very close to town and beautiful creek where we went swimming. The owner was the best and I would definently stay again.
Lovely location, so close to the horse show and the town of Manchester which has so much to offer. Located on a nice quiet road we enjoyed walking to the river and the hiking after the show, views are amazing. House offers all you need in a home away from home, the back deck has a fantastic view of the river. Very happy, would recommend.

Great Manchester House
My grandchildren, wife and I had a real Vt. vacation at this terrific house with an even better location. Plenty of space but cozy around the fireplace. We know Manchester for over 30 years yet never got to this road so close yet so far! Great view of Battenkill River, tree lined walks and only 5min from downtown. Hope to go again!

Amazing house and amazing stay!
Thank you so much, George, for your wonderful hospitality. This house is an absolute gem. My family and I enjoyed our stay, and the spacious 5 bedrooms were the perfect setting for us to host family and friends to join us. The great room is a perfect place to congregate- we watched the Superbowl on the giant screen tv. Second living room with wood fireplace was added bonus- no fighting with the kids over what to watch! Kitchen is perfectly stocked for all you need to make meals for the group. Bedrooms are very comfortable, and the soothing sounds of the Bromley Brook and gorgeous view made for the perfect stay. Can't recommend this place enough for those looking for a great time with a big group.
Location is great for access to Stratton & Bromley. Still convenient for Killington. Very quick to shipping and restaurants in Manchester. Some of the kitchen appliances were dated or challenging to use (toaster, oven). Kitchen floor very squeaky near the fridge.Showering required one at a time and no washing machine for enough hot water.Sufficient room for having guests for dinner or for gathering.
This house was just as advertised. Great location, plenty of room, clean yet rustic. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
We had a wedding to attend at the Equinox, it was only 6 minutes away! It was perfect for us!!! Plenty of room, nicely kept home, babbling brook/river, comfy beds! Would definitely return and would recommend!!!
We were all thrilled with this property. It is out of the way and nice and quiet. It has lots of room and if you like the outdoors there are lots of options. We had a fly fisherman, hikers and a 4 year old grandson that loved that river! Yet it is not far from town if you like the better things in life. Orvis museum and store were amazing and there is a beautiful golf course.
George’s house was fantastic and everything that we hoped for. It is a fantastic location near Manchester, and is located on a very scenic private and quiet road. Amenities were fantastic, we had lots of fun playing ping pong, pool and using the outdoor grill. Sleeping arrangements were excellent, everything was super clean as well. Check in and check out was very easy, this was a perfect fall getaway for the weekend. Would highly recommend this house and might need to come back for a ski weekend soon!
