Springview Retreat - secluded, romantic getaway

Springview Retreat is in a class of its own. Situated on a 15 acre property that used to be part of a much larger dairy farm. The original "Springview" farm house is about 100 meters from the cottage. Private access and tasteful furnishings, you won't have to leave your comfortable king size bed (with luxurious linen) to enjoy the sweeping views of the Barrengarry escarpment.

Leave the blinds in the bathroom open, the cattle will be your only curious visitors.

If you have a clear night we guarantee an unforgettable evening lying on the large deck gazing at the night sky full of stars.

Only 7 minutes from the picturesque Kangaroo Valley village that offers a selection of quaint shops and good restaurants. For those a little more adventurous we recommend a trip in a canoe down the river. There are also some fabulous bush walks in, and around the valley. You can also explore the area by car to view the cliffs, waterfalls and rivers.

Fully self contained, you can curl up on the sofa for your whole stay with a book, or explore the many local attractions. We hope you will create wonderful memories in our little piece of paradise. Happy to help in any way we can!

Wood is supplied for the fireplace during the winter months.
Please note, this cottage is for couples only, strictly NO pets (please do not put us in an awkward position and ask if you can bring pets. We take no pets, not small ones, not good ones NO PETS!) NO children and NO smoking

Springview Retreat was an amazing cottage. Karen was a fantastic host with great recommendations for walks a restaurants. The cottage was extremely clean and the linen all smelled so amazing. With stunning views of the mountains we had a very relaxing weekend and will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fully self contained. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Karen thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Chocolates, marshmallows for roasting in the open fireplace, fresh grown oranges and mandarins were just some of the touches that Karen provided. Highly recommend Springview Retreat.

We had the most wonderful stay and couldn’t recommend this property highly enough! The property itself is absolutely incredible and even more beautiful in person. We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather during our stay, which made it even more special.It was the perfect place to escape the stress of everyday life, switch off, relax and enjoy some quality time together. The whole experience was so peaceful and relaxing, and we left feeling completely refreshed.Karen was a lovely host and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back in the future!

We simply cannot say enough good things about Springview Retreat and Karen. Magnificent view, spotless accomodation, beautiful fireplace, bath with its own view, gorgeous cows for company, a short drive to town with cafes, a pub, and more. You won’t want for anything here and we never wanted to leave. The photos on the website don’t do this place justice. It’s simply magical. We are still feeling the relaxing effects two weeks later. We will be back!

From the moment we arrived, Karen was incredibly welcoming, and helpful, which made our stay even more special.The cottage was spotless, beautifully presented, and felt so warm and homely. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Was so much better than we expected! I booked Springview Retreat as a mini honeymoon surprise for my new bride, and she absolutely loved it. Karen, the host, was amazing—she went out of her way to accommodate our late-evening(9:00pm) arrival, which made everything so easy for us.When we arrived, the place was spotless, comfortable, and felt instantly welcoming. Karen had thought of everything and made sure we had everything we needed. Waking up to those views was unbelievable—easily one of the highlights of our stay.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back.
