Property was perfect! Tonia the Host was amazing.from the.moment we booked the house. Our.trip was scheduled for the week following the hurricane and she went.above and beyond communicating with me the conditions of the property as well as the beach and area. It was just.perfect!!

We were there for my sisters Bachelorette. We had a wonderful time at the property and had everything we needed. Plenty of space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Host was very responsive. Property was just a short walk to the beach.

Having the short walk to the private beach was great. Plenty of space to set our things and not crowded with people the house was well decorated. There could have been a couple more dish drying towels. The pool was great with a shallow end for our little kids to be able to stand and play. Plenty of water toys and beach chairs. The bikes were nice to have as our big grandkids and adults used them

Celebration Weekend

The home was all we expected and more! Very clean, stylish, comfy, and well appointed kitchens. The pool was great, and plenty of parking for our big group. Definitely recommend!

Accommodating for our group of 9 and an easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and very family oriented. There was a raccoon hanging around outside and a lot of our feet turned black (I think from the floors inside). Kitchen was well stocked downstairs but not upstairs- glad we found the extra supplies downstairs by day 2.

Great Owners

The house was spacious and beautiful. The owners responded promptly when we needed them. Location was fabulous. We had a few issues with the check-in and the maintenance of the property, but the owners were quick to make it right!

We enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed and was just a short walk to the beautiful white sand. FYI- The yard and pool area could use a good cleaning. Not a deal breaker for me but could be for someone looking forward to having a pool. The pool cleaner came during our stay but I am pretty sure it did not get vacuumed at all. The area around the pool also needs attention. All in all- The home is beautiful! This was my second time renting this home and I would stay again.

Thank you so much for the kind words and for your return stay. The pool is cleaned and vacuumed twice a week by our company, there was a storm that blew leaves in after they left that afternoon. I had them go back after your comment to ensure it was clean and up to our standards. Our lawn person trimmed the bushes this week, they are growing fast right now even on a regular trimming schedule. We appreciate you staying with us!

Girls’ Weekend!!

I can’t say enough great things about Sunfish Manor! The house and pool are absolutely beautiful and perfect size for our group of 12. We were a block from the private beach access which was fabulous. Our host was super accommodating and responsive. 1000% would recommend!!

Toiletries and front door

There shld be a respectable amount of toilet paper. Also very important, we felt a little vulnerable with no covering over the front door. But we absolutely love the house. Thxs.

Glad you loved the house! The front door has a modern blind that can be closed it just pulls down. All VRBO properties include a starter pack of toiletries including an unused roll for each bathroom. Thanks for making memories with us in Destin!

Negatives- Pool wasn’t cleaned in advance of us showing up, was cleaned day prior to us leaving. Frustrating to show up and there is only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels in each kitchen, spend 500A night and have to immediately buy toilet paper and paper towels is frustrating. The positives, great location, spacious house, many many beach toys available in the garage for kids, would still come back. Host was attentive and responsive, safe area.

Glad you guys enoyed your stay and would come back! Kids looked to be having a great time in the photo! The pool is cleaned teice a week, and was cleaned the day prior to your check in. There was a storm the next morning which caused leaves to fall in. Your stay was only 3 nights total. If you mentioned it i would have gladly sent them back to skim the top. There were 12 total rolls of TP total provided. I believe you may have not seen the spare rolls but i wish you would have said something i would have told you where they were.

Beautiful home away from home

Our experience at the Sunfish home was absolutely wonderful! The property is so beautiful and well supplied. Including games for some family fun. I loved how the 1st and 2nd floor kitchens were exactly the same including pots & pans. My family and I truly enjoyed the stay. The property manager and her husband are extremely responsive and tentative via the app and text if necessary. I was very pleased with the quietness of the neighborhood, beach access and bed comfortability. The only concern we had was there was stains on the linen including the towels, we went out and bought blankets and towels for our comfort though. Other than that, I definitely would rent this place again and recommend this to anyone looking.

Thanks for your review and so glad you enjoyed your stay. We have replaced all the linens and towels, we replace them every 6 months, we use white so they can be bleached but they still need replacing due to makeup stains fairly often.

The house was awesome! Plenty of room to spread out. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. So roomy we had such a great stay! We had just a couple of hiccups but Tomia was a great host as she responded to our needs immediately and helped with any issues that we may have had. By the end of the week my entire family was present and we celebrated my birthday, my grandson's birthday and my granddaughter's engagement. What a great week we had!
