1 block to beach/boardwark and steps from Rehoboth Ave shops and restaurants.
Complete with living room sitting area, 2 bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed, the second with 2 twin beds. Sleeps 4 comfortably.
Fully-equipped kitchen with wood cabinets.
Full bath.
Washer/dryer in unit
Air conditioned and heated.

Outdoor shower and clothesline for towels.
Beautiful view of Lake Gerar from patio with an outside sitting area and barbeque grill.

Off street permit parking permit is provided but there is no driveway parking for the apartment.

To enter unit, walk down lighted sidewalk to the right of 37 Virginia Ave.
Entrance to 37B is around back of main house.

Please note - the property owner is 6 feet and moves around the apartment fine but the front door and all doors inside have lower clearance. This is a garden apartment ceilings are not full height.

Hobbit Home Close to the Beach

We were very happy with the proximity to the beach, but the accommodations were definitely not what we are used to. This is definitely a budget friendly option for its location, but the ceilings are maybe 6'5", and the door frames are may 6' even. There are no linens, or towels, so we had to pack everything for our stay. It wasn't terrible for the money, but I can definitely say we wouldn't stay here again.

Super Pleased!

We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint little property! This was our first beach trip as a family of four, and it accommodated our size perfectly. We were able to comfortably sleep with our 11 month old in the queen sized bed, and our 8 year old loved having her own room with the twin beds! The beds are firm - if you don’t like this, just be warned. I prefer a cushy bed but my husband LOVED this mattress and said he had the best sleep ever! Please note this is a basement renovated as an apartment - the doorways are low and my husband hit his head almost every time he went through forgetting about the height! He is 6’0 even so if you’re taller than that, make sure you duck! The outdoor shower was a huge hit and I wish we had one back home in PA! We only used the indoor tub twice for the baby. Laundry accommodation right on the property was great so we could do our laundry before we headed home and keep our swimsuits and towels clean. John provided everything we needed for our trip - dishes, silverware, and even white noise machines in the bedrooms as you WILL hear footsteps upstairs if someone is staying there! (This did not bother us a bit). The location is set on a quiet street with only a few other homes, perfect walking distance to the ocean and the surrounding shops. Even with it being beside a Main Street, it was shockingly quiet and tucked away! We would absolutely stay here again and think you should give it a try. Thanks for the wonderful stay, John!
