Le Moulin des Ances is a beautiful stone house set in landscaped gardens and is just 30 minutes from LA ROCHELLE on the west coast of France.
With 190m2 of living space the house has been entirely renovated in recent years. The 2 living rooms are large and bright with high ceilings, exposed beams and stone fireplaces. The kitchen/dining room also has exposed beams and opens to the garden and pool.
It is set in landscaped grounds of 5500m2 with an abundance of trees and shrubs and next to extensive woodlands. The mill-stream runs around the property and there is a small lake.
The large swimming pool (11m x 5,5m) is heated and faces woodlands and orchards.
Le Moulin des Ances provides a perfect centre for visiting the region. The picturesque port of La Rochelle, the beach resort of Chatelaillon and Le Marais Poitevin (Green Venice) are half an hour away. Inland you can drive to Saintes and Cognac in an hour and to the Futuroscope at Poitiers in less than 90 minutes.
