This was a great centrally located spot for all vacation adventures. Property managers were very friendly and took care of any questions we had. I would recommend this cabin and will likely look to stay here again on future visits.
Our cabin was perfect for our family! The owners came by and said hi and welcomed us. The place was clean, quiet, cozy and had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be back!
our cabin was just what we needed - a place to crash in the middle of the Black Hills. With the kitchenette, we were able to turn it into our home for our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at Robin's Roost! We enjoyed the Kenaston's friendly demeanor and appreciated them taking the time to visit with us at the end of each day! We would highly recommend staying at Robin's Roost!
Everything was fantastic about our stay except the wifi. We could not get connected to it, but thankfully, I had brought my own wifi. The lack of wifi did not in any way negatively impact our stay. We were very close to town for groceries and close to all of the places we intended to visit during our stay. Loved the firepit outside and the visits by the chickens and cat. Made for some delightful evenings. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again.
Great place to stay right in the heart of everything that is the Black Hills
The best part about this cabin is that it is a short drive from the Black Hills, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park. Hills City has a great little grocery store just a couple minutes away and a bunch of great restaurant options. The owner of the cabins was very friendly, in fact came to check on us halfway through to see if we needed anything.
If you are looking to connect to the internet while on the trip. This isn't a great option. Cell reception was scarce and the wifi only provided one bar, really no service at all which made it hard to plan the days activities.
Great location! Short drive to all the main attractions of the Black Hills. The cabin we stayed in was older, but very clean. Will stay here for our next visit.
We loved the location, beautiful scenery and close to attractions such as caves, Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. There was a grocery store 5 minutes away and the kitchen in the cabin had everything we needed. The property managers were very friendly and helpful in adding to our trip experience with recommendations for. our family. The cabin was also very clean. We had a great vacation.

The owners were very nice. We enjoyed talking with them each time. Our only real complaint would be the road noise(in the morning & evening). Bed was real comfortable. Easy access to the things we wanted to visit. We would go back.
This place is spectacular to feel in contact with nature. All the details of cleanliness, comfort and comfort fulfilled my expectations.Thank you to the Robbinsons for their kindness.Thank you so much
We stayed here for our visit to the Black Hills. After driving through the entire region, we were so glad to have found this place. We loved that it is not too far from any particular and that it was not in any of the small towns. The countryside feel was what we needed, wanted, and loved.
We had a great experience at Robins Roost and they had expedited the check in and check out process to be contact less and easy. We were impressed with the amenities provided including a charcoal grill and fire place. The hosts were extremely friendly and made the rounds every night to chat with the guests and offer recommendations for food and activities. Our one complaint was that there were limited seating options inside and out so we wished we had brought some camping chairs to use! Overall a great experience
Upon arrival the owner pulled up as we got out of the car and welcomed us, they then took us through the cabin.
Later that night they came back to bring more towels and wash clothes and stayed talking to us about the area and where we could find a grocery store and told us of good places to eat in the area.
I highly recommend staying here and in the future will stay again if back in the area.
Matt abs Beth were very friendly and accommodating. The place filled the bill. Good location and pleasant to be there. Especially enjoyed the chickens and bonfire !
