The property consists of individual condo units rather than a hotel-style interior hallway, so each unit has its own exterior entrance. This is very typical for condos in this area. If there is a specific concern related to the exterior door, we would appreciate any additional clarification so we can better understand your feedback. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and we're glad there were some positives in your trip. We are truly sorry to hear about your daughter’s asthma symptoms during your stay and understand how concerning that must have been for your family. We do want to provide some important clarification. At the time of your report, there was no mildew or mold odor detected in the unit, nor was there visible evidence of mold on the dining chairs or the wall A/C unit as described. The condo has been fully inspected since your departure. The owner personally stayed in the condo earlier the same month prior to your arrival and did not notice any odor or issues, and no similar concerns have been reported by any of our previous guests. The unit underwent significant remodeling in 2025, and housekeeping has been diligent in maintaining cleanliness, including routine checks for mildew in the bathrooms. The wall A/C unit is cleaned and serviced annually. In response to your concerns, we promptly placed a dehumidifier in the unit to help reduce moisture, as guest comfort and health are very important to us. We are sympathetic to your daughter’s asthma and understand that Florida’s humid, coastal environment—especially in a building located directly across from the ocean—can sometimes exacerbate respiratory sensitivities, even when a unit is well maintained. While none of our staff, the owner, or prior guests have experienced or detected the issues described, we recognize that individuals with asthma may be more sensitive to these Florida environmental factors. Thank you again for your feedback. We take all concerns seriously and remain committed to maintaining a clean, well-cared-for home for our guests.

Hi Carolyn - thanks for taking time to leave your feedback. We wish we'd have heard from you during your stay so we had the opportunity to provide some of the items mentioned; we would've been glad to have maintenance drop them by. A colander & cookie sheet should've been in the unit, but it's possible a previous renter damaged/tossed them and didn't report it. Those items, in addition to an extra pillow, have been sent to housekeeping to be replaced at the next turn. We're glad you had a great time & hope you return!
