Cozy with Great Views

This is our favorite place to stay. It has a big back yard, great for pets or kids. It has nice deck with great views.

Comfortable Holiday Cheer for 3 Days

Perfect spot for us next door to family! Very clean accommodations, plenty of kitchen necessities, comfy beds & great fenced outdoor space for our small dog. We will stay again sometime.Thank you for a lovely Christmas experience!

Great home

We really enjoyed staying at this house but I think our dogs enjoyed it even more! Fully gated backyard with enough space to hangout on the deck, or the bottom level grass with the dogs. Close to lots of nice restaurants and not a far distance from shopping. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming Home, Good for Dogs

Charming home that worked perfectly for my husband and I, our young daughter, and our 2 dogs while in town. Convenient location - easy drive to all the venues we needed to visit during our stay. Our 2 dogs enjoyed having the yard to hang out in. Owner was very accommodating and allowed us to check in a little earlier due to the start times of the event we were attending. Would definitely stay again.

Great location but house could use some TLC

The house was in a great location and had good views. The back yard was great for our dogs and there was plenty of room for them to play. The house definitely needs some TLC (front door had to be lifted up in order to latch, the flooring upstairs was sinking in to the point that we did not feel safe to utilize upstairs, railings upstairs were not very stable [would be nervous to let kids play up there]). If there was some handyman work done to the house, it would be a great place to stay and we would consider going back again.

We had a fantastic stay! The house and the yard were great. A perfect spot for our relaxing weekend. Our dog loved it too. The large back yard was great for him. We had a fantastic stay. The house was stocked well with kitchen utensils and pans. The shampoo and conditioners smelled wonderful. Having a washer and dryer, so we didn't have to take dirty clothes home was great too. The only things I would suggest would be some sharp knives for dining, and a dog door. Also, possibly a place to hang clothes, that is not upstairs.

Great location but needs a lot of work.

Location was perfect. . . Close to lake travis and lake austin. Bathroom needs some serious renovations. Open holes in the sheet rock, original tub, worst bathroom we have been in by far. Yard, shrubs and trees were way over grown, so you could not really enjoy the yard at all. No grill to use for grilling which is what most like to do at the lake.

Great 2-Bedroom Home near Lakeway

The older home shows its age but it was very clean, nice beds (king & queen), adequate kitchen with range/dishwasher, spotless refrigerator, convenient washer/dryer. We enjoyed the deck & our pup loved the fenced backyard. The only bathroom could use some sprucing up but it met our needs. The spiral staircase leads to game room upstairs which we didn’t use. Entry & lockup was easy. Biggest concern: Hosts didn’t answer our questions before we arrived. Communication could have been much better. This property is on the west side of Austin near Lakeway. We did enjoy our time there & have already booked it again.

House Great, Evolve Not So Much

The house we stayed in was great, fully supplied. The fenced back yard was wonderful for our dogs. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you’ll get. And Lakeway is a fantastic area. The property manager Evolve is where my recommendation breaks down. They shortened my stay by one night on the back end, even when I clearly told them the dates of the nights we wanted to be there. Since there were 2 separate charges for our stay and we got extra insurance because of our dogs, we didn’t pick this up. We were out, and got a call from the host asking why we hadn’t checked out yet, so we had to rush back and clear out our stuff. I have booked several vacations through VRBO that didn’t involve Evolve, and never had confusion on the dates. If they are involved beware and check your dates!

We arrived late in the evening to a very very dark house with no house numbers on it to identify it. Definitely have a screen shot of the listing handy so you know you’re at the right house. We figured it out by finding the lock box and correctly entering in the numbers. The house is quirky but met our needs. No screens on any windows so not able to get fresh air. Don’t look too close at the bathroom either😵‍💫. The patio furniture was a bit dirty and the yard overgrown. Our dog enjoyed the backyard. After we were paid in full we received the vast check out chore list along with the early check out time. It truly made us wonder why we had to pay for a cleaner when we were taking out the garbage to the far side of the house (found the mailbox over there tho!!), washing and putting away dishes, stripping the beds etc. If you want a good yard for your dogs then this is the place to stay. Otherwise…

We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay.-The bathroom is not updated, but guests can rest assured that it's professionally clean and completely functional.- We appreciate your feedback on locating our home. It's the first instance of this issue, and we'll improve visibility by adding address numbers.- We don't have screens on the windows, but that is because people comment on the view, so we don't want to obscure it.- As we aim for guest satisfaction, we always do our best to accommodate our guests. If you had contacted us with your request for a later check-out time, it would have been no problem.- In our short-term rental experiences, receiving a checkout list for tasks like trash disposal and dishwashing is fairly common. It's surprising that you found this unusual and questioned the cleaning fee, especially given our cleaning crew's videos documenting an extended cleaning time of 4.5 hours, compared to the usual 3 hours. It's not something we take pleasure in addressing, but we believe in providing full transparency for anyone who may come across this review.We have made a note of all of your critiques, and we do take them seriously. We truly do all we can to make our home the best possible experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

This was a cozy little house. The upstairs was much smaller than expected from the pictures. But, it all worked out. Great views of the sunrise out back. Would stay here again.

Unique house with a great fenced in backyard

It is a unique lay out, has a nice large family room to hang out in with a long table and lots of seating. The fenced in yard was really nice to have with young kids.
