Cruise down to Cooks Brook Beach or Sunken Meadow Beach, feel the ocean breeze in your hair and the warm sun on your face. Head back to Golden Slumber for a quick refresh and get ready for a night on the town! Enjoy a feature at one of the last Drive In Theaters in America, then sample the local flavors at any of Eastham’s eateries like Arnolds, Brine, or Seashore Kitchen and Bar. If you’re feeling adventurous, head out to the Wellfleet Beachcomber to drink and dance the night away in the dunes! End your evening back at Golden Slumber, snug and content. Sports are more your thing? This home is not far from the Cape Cod Rail Trail; load the bikes in the car and park at any of the Rail Trail parking areas to experience the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a 25 mile activity trail which leads from Wellfleet all the way to Yarmouth and is perfect for biking, running or walking.
