This true Cape Cod cottage is ideal for a couple. Located in a 6 acre private community on beautiful White Pond. It is newly renovated with a kitchen/ living area, one bedroom with 2 twin beds and a large sun room/screened-in porch overlooking a colorful garden. It is complete with 2 cable TV's, VCR and fans in every room. The fresh water pond is clean and perfect for swimming and fishing! Tennis, golfing, antiquing, flea markets, art fairs, home of the Chatham Anglers (free Cape Cod Baseball League games), Friday night Chatham Band concerts (free and don't forget the penny candy store), 4 star resort Chatham Bars Inn, fine dining to carry out and everything in between, sailing, whale watches, seal watches, deep sea fishing, and the town movie theater! Don't forget a tour of Chatham Lighthouse. Close to fabulous National Seashore beaches and home to its own favorites Hardings Beach, Ridgevale Beach, and Chatham Lighthouse Beach (1.5 miles away). This a quiet hideaway away from the bustling world yet close enough for all of the activities of the charming town of Chatham.

Tara was easily reached by phone and answered all our questions.The only disappointment was that the kayaks were not available for use on the pond.The sunroom was most pleasant for peaceful reading, etc.

We had a great 4 days here. Nice setting within a community with access to a large pond. Quiet. Easy access to everything including bike trails. Lots of places to visit nearby. Loved the sun room - a great place to hang out. The house is a little tight, in particular the shower. Other than that it had everything that one needs.

This cottage really was delightful! It was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated in a nautical theme. The neighborhood was very quiet, but conveniently located to the town center and to beaches and other attractions. Tara was easy to reach, and responsive to all our communications. We really enjoyed staying here.

The cottage is as adorable as the pictures, especially the sun room. Can't remember the last time I just sat and read a book and it was the perfect place for it. Loved the sunset at the pond, the great restaurants in the area and all of the activities close by. We enjoyed mini golf, a whale watch, a couple days at beaches, art galleries and joyous relaxation. I will definitely come back.

Old Skool Cape

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cozy cottage. We will return during our annual Chatham visits. Hopefully we can book for next year and have told friends to join us in their own rental.

Cozy corner cottage was exactly that.

The host was very responsive and check in was a breezy. The cottage was small but comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend on the Cape. We were able to enjoy not only the ocean beaches but also the freshwater pond on the property.

Perfect for my visit to Chatham - clean and cozy with all the amenities including cable and wifi. I took a swim in the pond and got some work done as well. Great value for the I was pleasantly surprised that there was a window air conditioner in the Bedroom as it was not mentioned in the listing and it was a bit of a heat wave.

Old Cape Cod

This is a great little cottage. The area is very quiet and tranquill. It is very cozy and cute. We had a great time. The shower and bathroom is very tight quarters and can be a challenge at times. It was like going back in time in a good way.

we had the best beautiful time in the cottage. Clean, sweet, comfortable and enough space for two but the biggest thing for us was the porch. Without it would have not be the same. Great addition!!

Cute and Cozy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a cute area with a nice restful atmosphere! I would suggest a set of towels per person per nights of stay! Also, though the mattresses were not old they were most uncomfortable! That could be improved! We would give it an A! Pauline

Pauline, Thank you for your review. Though I agree providing fresh towels daily to our guests would be a lovely option, my family and I do not have the staff, like hotels have, to do that. Thanks too for your opinion about the mattresses. Finally, as a teacher I appreciate your overall grade of an A!
