The pool deck needs attention very rough, very easy to get splinters, slats in railings loose. Ac did not work in bottom section, spa tub was not clean chrome trim rings fell off of jets. House itself needs updating

Lots of good outdoor furniture, beach was nice, deck boards and pool area boards need work...got a big sliver from the pool area...need to pound down nails and fix splintery boards. Clean property...our "old" grandkids enjoyed the outdoor shower.

This place was perfect for our vacation!! We loved spending time in the sun on the large back deck!! And when we wanted to spend time on the beach it was just a few steps away!! Came back sandy and it was perfect to use the out door shower which had hot water !! The house seemed clean and well stocked. Dishwasher gave out while we were there and repair man came very quick to check on it…many memories made!! We hope to be able tocome back and stay!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re really glad the house was a great fit for your vacation. That big back deck is such a nice spot to relax in the sun, and it’s great to hear you enjoyed being just steps from the beach. The outdoor shower definitely comes in handy after a sandy day, so I’m happy it worked well for you. We’re also glad the house felt clean and well stocked. Sorry again about the dishwasher acting up, but I’m glad we were able to get someone out quickly to take a look. It sounds like you made some great memories, and we’d love to have you back anytime.

Hello. Overall, our stay was excellent. There are just two pieces of feedback we wanted to share. 1. The refrigerator water filter needs likely needs replacing. The ice in the freezer and the fridge side had a bad fishy smell. We could not use the ice and we were afraid the food we stored might also adopt that smell. 2. We were a bit surprised there was no traditional shower on the top level - just a tub with a handheld fixture. Maybe we missed it in the listing. It may not have prevented us from staying here but it would have been good to know. 6 guys sharing one shower on the main level wasn’t ideal so some us opted for the outside shower.Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us! We are very glad to hear that your overall stay was excellent, but we sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced regarding the refrigerator and the shower setup. We take cleanliness and maintenance very seriously. Our team will look into the fridge issue. We also appreciate your note about the top-level bathroom layout. We try to be as clear as we can on our listing, but we will look into making it more obvious for people booking. Thank you again for helping us improve our guest experience. We would love the chance to host your group again and provide you with a seamless stay!

Perfect Spot

This house was perfectly located. It was not right on the beach but a very close walk and for my family, it was perfect as we had 4 small children. The secluded location made it very peaceful. The home was in good condition and very clean.

Great location, clean home

We loved the location of this home, we swam in the pool everyday, and the home was very clean. You can comfortably walk to the beach or take a golf cart. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, had great communication with the property manager, and found the home to be comfortable.

Great stay for families!

We stayed with our family and another - including several young kids. We had plenty of room and towels provided. The location is great - quiet/safe and short walk to the beach. We loved the option of the pool and the outdoor shower was a nice feature to rinse off after the beach. If we had a negative (as other reviews have mentioned), the deck is a bit older and we did notice some screw heads poking up and had a few splinters in kids feet, so something to be aware of. Communication was great and check in was easy- overall we had such a wonderful stay in Folly Beach and would recommend this place!

Folly Vaca

The home was spacious and clean. Location to beach was great. Beach wasn’t crowded at all. The view of the ocean from the home was better than pictures showed. You are close enough to hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze. The pool was a big hit with the kids. It was a great vacation spot and I would highly recommend it.
